Ask anyone in Guildford where to head for the best Indian restaurant in town and it’s very likely they’ll point you towards Chertsey Street and Guildford Spice. Those directions will be followed by stories of happy times enjoyed at Guildford Spice and a list of the curries you shouldn’t miss. Speaking of which, the Guildford Spice menu offers delightful Indian and Bangladeshi dishes that range from exotic chilli salmon to duck dopiaza and lamb chops from the grill. Essentially, you’ll find all the curry house classics you know and love as well as plenty that you likely won’t have tried before. Right in the town centre, Guildford Spice sits in between Guildford and London Road train stations so it’s accessible regardless of which part of Surrey you’re coming into Guilford from. It’s popular, so do reserve a table in advance.
Friendly staff, and tasty food. Lovely decor which matches the cuisine. That said: turn it up a notch when it comes to spice. Neither the sauces with the popadums, nor the “three chilli” dishes were spicy enough. Will Definitely be visiting again.
Nice greeting and very good with accommodating our table preference. Friendly and knowledgable about the menu with a good choice of food and drink. Will be returning.....
This is the most friendly curry house in Surrey, always a great experience. Fabulous decor and the food is really top quality, can't recommend it highly enough
