Excellent food, service good, friendly and helpful. Nice selection of beers in the bar. Converted pub so plenty of room you don't feel cramped in will definitely use again.

Tasty food as always and it was a buffet which is not normally what they do but it was there birthday yesterday. 5 years I think

Not your normal Indian restaurant, plenty of different meals to chose from, very friendly staff and a nice bar to have a drink either before or after you meal, will be going back again !

very nicely laid out restaurant with conservatory and rear gardens. Staff were friendly and very helpful - we did not feel rushed in our meal. Food was on a par with the better of the Indian/Nepali restaurants around the Oxford area - not brilliant but actually better than most. Yes we will eat there again.

Good selection of food. Average price. Only complaint would be with speed of service. There was quite a delay serving our main when starters had been cleared. We were only a table of 4 and the restaurant was only about a third full. Overall 4/6.

The food was excellent It was very noisy near the kitchen though. The staff were talking to the chef very loudely to request orders and take them to tables.

The food was very good hot and bough out in a timely manner, the staff were helpful nothing was too much trouble more than happy to highly recommend the Gurkha Village.

My wife and I had a very enjoyable evening. The food was very good, though there was more than enough! We were, however, allowed to take away leftovers in a doggy bag. The service was good. However, I did have to point out that I wished to retain my wine glass, to have a glass of wine after my initial soft drink, and my wife had to remind them about the coffee she had ordered.

It was a lovely meal, as usual but the service is always slow, even though it was not particularly busy. The staff are always friendly.

Our favourite local Indian restaurant. Lovely food, all freshly cooked to order. The drinks are also reasonably priced and the staff are welcoming and attentive. We come here regularly.

Had to wait a bit in between courses but there was a big party in the restaurant. Staff very friendly and courteous as usual. Food excellent as always

The service and food was very good. The curry dish was cooked without the masses of oil you tend to get served up with on Indian restaurants. The only negative are the desserts where these restaurants let themselves down in that they are bought in ready made!! A little thought and home made would have gained them full marks.

First time at a nepalise restaurant and even eating the food off this culture. We absolutely loved it went with friends and shared most meals. Staff were polite and friendly and food was amazing. Would definitely recommend the place and we will be going again soon.

The food was quite good, it was much better on my previous visit, probably down to choice. Drinks were OK, but that was due to lack of choice. Service was OK, felt a little rushed, but it was not busy in the restaurant.

Hard to fault the ambience service and food were superb and the check exceptional value for money my only downside was the chosen taxi firm hired by Gurkha to take us home no never and asked for twice the price we aid for the arrival journey we challenged and he remitted should not happen and perhaps Gurkha could consider renegotiation with a different firm

The food was excellent and the service has improved, well done a very enjoyable meal. A return visit is planned in the near future as a nice treat.

Busy restaurant even on a Wednesday evening. Staff were efficient and friendly. Food excellent, varied menu and easy parking. I would recommend try this restaurant to anyone in the area.

Would recommend to a friend. The decor is slightly shabby and dated but there was great food and attentive service. Look forward to visiting again.
