A overall wonderful experience that has left us looking forward to our next visit. Lovely atmosphere, great service, excellent food!

Fabulous food — amazing Café de Paris sauce just like they serve it in Geneva! Beautiful atmosphere too.

Amazing experience! Really good food and atmosphere. Service was exceptional and really well organized. Prices are expensive but worth the experience.

Lovely location. Food was not great for the price. Portion sizes were dreadfully small. I eat out regularly at steak restaurants in Bristol. We don’t have a Hawksmoor but based on our experience last night, Bristol is not missing out!

Lovely Sunday dinner. Trimmings really perfect. No fault of food at all. Service prompt but not pushy. Waitor friendly. Atmosphere upbeat but not noisy. Happily recommend and will go again. Puddings also lovely as we're cocktails

Had a fantastic meal, the ambiance and service was great - and as always the food was really special.

It's very rare to find a restaurant in the UK that does a blue steak properly, with truly delicious creamed spinach. The carpaccio was great, but it wasn't served with bread. We had to ask for it. With the bread; it was wonderful. I was disappointed that there wasn't some sort of sauteed potato, which is what would have made this a perfect meal. We had the mash with cheese, which was fantastic, but a little too heavy. The peppercorn sauce was made properly also. The wine generally was extremely expensive, but the cheapest bottle of red wine was really wonderful. It does make you wonder about those above £100. The waiter was professional and knowledgeable. I was so pleased he didn't turn up with an Ipad. I think he was probably a little bored at the beginning of our meal (we went quite early for dinner), because he took our starter plates away as soon as we put that last mouthful on our forks. I don't like having my empty plate in front of me for 20 minutes, but it felt weird to still be chewing as it was removed. All in all, an excellent meal, which was expensive, but was isn't nowadays? I would say it's worth splashing out sometimes. It would be nice to be served bread with each course without having to request it, but in the UK it's just not normal sadly. I would also have liked to see steak tartare on the menu.

Lovely restaurant. Unfortunately the waiter seemed confused regarding certain dishes and had to ask his colleagues. Overall a good experience and would definitely recommend.

Had a lovely meal here to celebrate my son’s birthday - food and cocktails were great and staff were friendly and attentive. My son got a birthday drink on the house which was a nice touch!

Food took nearly a hour to arrive for two adults and a child which was way too long. Service was very basic and no one checked back to see if we were happy or not, and it was difficult to get attention to order extras. This is not acceptable since 12.5% service was added to the bill. We paid the full service charge but felt the service was inadequate. This was the first time we tried at this location and we were not impressed!

Nice visit, food was good. Bathrooms not the cleanest. Nice atmosphere in restaurant. I had the jersey royal potatoes which were disappointing. Desserts very limited menu could do with improving. Was told steak and chips were very good. Service good

Food great but portions small. adding 12.5% service to a 250 pound bill is very cheeky.

The visit was nice and the waitress was excellent but the people that brought us food were not very careful. They gave my food to my son. The gravy was too rich and he was sick after the meal. We were not happy.

The service did not live up to the premium standard this restaurant aspires to have. The food was good but in part not worth the price.

Service excellent Food quality was good - albeit - bit cold when served

First time and all right except some rude woman rushed in and jumped the queue for the receptionist. Unfortunately the receptionist was not aware that other people were waiting by the counter.

Very noisy. The chicken was very good. Staff is very kind and caring. We had to wait about 45 minutes to be served.
