High Timber is one of our favourite dining spots in London’s City. On the north bank of the Thames, High Timber serves modern British food done with the chef’s own distinctive South African touch, meaning you can expect mains like sirloin tagliata with cauliflower puree and crispy shallots, chakalaka boerewors skewers, or a 250g fillet steak. The wine at High Timber is also fantastic, which is perfect for the terrace during the summer or the cosy cellar in the winter. Walk south from St. Paul’s and you’ll find High Timber with views of The Globe, Tate Modern and Shard. Reservations at this City gem are essential.
