Himalayan Spice - Liskeard

I was looking for a good Indian restaurant and was recommended Himalayan Spice and we were not disappointed. The food was lovely with dishes we had not sampled before. The staff were polite and friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

We ate here as a party of four. Wonderful food, freshly cooked and presented excellently. Very friendly and attentive staff , we will certainly eat here again.

First time customer. Heard good things so thought we would give it a try. Excellent service and excellent food. Would definitely recommend this restaurant. Only downside is that there is no parking so we had to park in town and walk a little way, however it was worth it. Will be returning again. My new favourite curry house.

Excellent food and service, and my young daughters were well looked after, and loved the Chicken Tikka! Worth a visit if you are in the area.

It's on narrow and fairly busy road so parking may be an issue. The food was authentic and tasty. There's an extensive menu and the dishes were well presented. Fish cakes were a little dry but all the other dishes hit the mark. None of our dishes were too spicy. Popadoms, starters and mains with some drinks for 4 and a bill just over £100 was competitive.

Great food, excellently presented by very attentive friendly staff. Was not expecting to find such authentic cuisine of this high standard in Cornwall so it was a very pleasant surprise

Lovely food, flexible to cater for my vegan diet. Friendly staff. Made to feel very welcome. Just moved to the area and trying out the locals and this restaurant met all our hopes. We’ll be back! Thanks

Clean restaurant with great food and service, only marked down one point as we were sat by the window and it was cold.. would return as living in Looe there is no Indian restaurant alternative, worthy of mention.

Brilliant, tasty food beautifully presented. Excellent service! The restaurant has had a face lift since we last went which is most attractive. It was warm and comfortable at the table we asked for (left hand side of the door, on the bar side). It can be chilly on the other side because of constant opening of the door. If given the option I prefer to hear Asian music which I feel would be part of the experience. I would give the food at this restaurant 10.

Fabulous food, great service, perfect for our pre Christmas get together. Highly recommended. Booking really easy and was confirmed by phone a few days later.

Staff looked after us very well. The shared fish starter was lovely and very tasty. All of us enjoyed the food, and it was good value

The food was lovely, but the evening was marred due to the large gas heater expelling pungent gas fumes aimed right at our table. The waiter did move this when asked, but we were all affected by it. The waiter was very keen for our orders and they seemed to want rush us off though it wasn't busy. So food presentation 9/10 but service and ambiance only 5/10.

Great food and friendly staff made a good night out to catch up with family i would certainly go again mext time i am in the area
