Contrary to their name, this bar and restaurant on Horse Market is much more than just a hole-in-the-wall establishment. Instead it’s an atmospheric local which serves gourmet grub and quality drink amongst an ambient environment, all coming together as one in rather charming fashion. It’s one of Darlington’s favourite places to enjoy a meal out, this thanks to their legendary homemade pie and mash, craft burgers and other British classics. Their sharing boards are also great for grazing while enjoying the beer, wine, cocktails and spirits that are on offer. Located right in the town centre near Darlington Clock Tower, Hole in the Wall is definitely worth a visit.
