Horse & Jockey in Corley is about as charming a British country pub as you could wish to find. 10 minutes from Coventry city centre with lovely views of the countryside, a beer garden and plenty of space for all the family (including the dog), Horse & Jockey is great just for a drink or for some proper pub fare in the restaurant area. You can enjoy lunch as well as dinner, and from the main menu you can expect dishes like homemade beef lasagne, a trio of sausages with creamy mashed potatoes and red onion gravy, or the very indulgent fillet of seabass on a bed of crushed new potatoes with Cornish crab, a seafood sauce and mussels. Sound good? You’ll find Horse & Jockey on Corley’s Tamworth Road. Advanced reservations are a very good idea!

Lovely meal, with good service from a friendly and efficient staff
The service off the waitress was fantastic. She was very interactive with our 3 year old. However when our food arrived it looked very plain. The pie looked very dry and when we both cut into them, they had no gravy in whatsoever. A jug of gravy was offered and arrived with our meals, much later on. This to was very watery and bland. No one came to ask us how our food was until the end. Nothing was deducted from the bill even after we had said we weren't overly happy with it. At a cost of nearly £60. Very disappointed x
Always a good experience , welcoming roaring fire on arrival
