First try out, no real complaints but I was disappointed that I didn't get the carvery I was expecting. Will have to come again.

Not enough choice for vegetarians I had the ploughman's and I didn't rate it much not as nice as the vegetarian tart I had the last time

Friendly bar staff. Nice Ambience. However, A long wait for main courses. Vegetables (for the Turkey Roast) were undercooked. My friend was disappointed that the Turkey meat was "sliced / tinned", and not "carved".

Food was excellent and great service. There was five of us and all had empty plates. Certainly come again

Had a nice Sunday roast there the other month but not so nice this time. Potatoes and Yorkshire’s were a bit dried out, think this may have been because it wasn’t busy.

Excellent service, good food, only one criticism, pies have pastry on top not mash potato. Unfortunately, the chef became unwell but the landlord dealt with the problems that it caused very satisfactorily.

Very good Sunday carvery, plenty of choice, nicely cooked veg and very good value. Slight problem with online booking, hadn’t been received by publican so will phone direct next time.

We were very welcome. The staff were extremely helpful and very friendly. The food was very good particularly the chicken and leek pie. It was nice to find such a lovely pub where dogs were really welcome.

Service was awful...slow....not enough staff to serve the customer they had ...the meat was a joke cut wafer thin & hardly any put on plate....veg just warm..,overall a bad experience we won’t be going back.

Overall the experience was poor, the staff are very warm and friendly but the cavery wasn't very nice . Potatoes were cold and hard from where they had been left out 2of the party didn't eat any peas as these seemed very dried up. We won't be rushing back again soon

Excellent carvery and very good friendly service. Catered well for our two grandchildren who enjoyed their meal, especially the deserts. Starters and deserts had a nice selection for all. A very enjoyable experience.

Food very good, ambiance is nice, staff very helpful, particularly as my wife is in a wheelchair. Cost very competitive A very pleasant visit. It's good to know that not a lot has changed
