A nice experience, a warm and friendly atmosphere, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The quality of the food was both excellent and plentiful. I have no hesitation in recommending the Hunters Stables and will certainly return.

We were out celebrating my dads 60th birthday. We were made so welcome, the waiter was brilliant with the kids. The kids food was brought out quicker so they didn’t need to wait. Food was excellent and very good value for money. Pizza was amazing! We brought a cake as a surprise which the restaurant hid for us and when it was time to bring it out the waiters sang happy birthday. Service was the best! Will definitely go back. Thankyou for a lovely night.

The staff were great - attentive and amusing but understated. The food was super and piping hot and the price was very reasonable. The whole setting of the restaurant is fabulous- very light and beautifully decorated. Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and would highly recommend to family and friends.

Not a usual cause for complaint..but felt the food was served too quickly! Needed more a gap between first and second course to let food go down. Almost as if had high turnover and needed to clear tables.but were plenty free...Prawn starter - prawns chunky but lacked flavour. Pizza and calzone excellent. Very attentive service. Very bright restaurant ...dimmed lights may have made it feel more atmospheric? No ability to tip via card ..so with no coins on us we’re unable to do so. Would revisit.

Visiting the area and had booked online. Beautifully cooked and large portion of lamb was a high point. Very friendly and professional staff. Price was spot on and would gladly recommend Hunters Stable with no reserves.

Table too close to doors excellent food no light working and soap in ladies toilets also both pedal bins broken good atmosphere waiters always in a hurry asked if everything ok dashing off before you answered

Great food, great atmosphere. Reasonable service but not quite attentive enough - forgotten chips and twice forgotten drinks.
