We live on the North East coast of England and have been coming to Carshalton for several years, being lucky enough to be able to attend Wimbledon. We discovered this restaurant 3 years ago and have visited each year since. The food has always been delicious, the staff friendly and very accommodating.

Excellent food. My vegetarian pasta was a little bit salty for my taste but the hosts were lovely and attentive. Would recommend.

I found the menu was not very clear on the ingredients of a dish. Our table was in the window in direct sunlight which made it uncomfortably hot to eat.

Food was average, atmosphere was nonexistent, my wife’s sticky toffee pudding was dry with no sticky toffee. Not great.

The restaurant was very busy as it was a Bank Holiday but the service was good and friendly and the food was lovely. It's easy to get to and we'll definitely be returning!

First time, spur of the moment visit - one of very few local restaurants actually open on Bank Holiday Monday where we could get a booking. Very pleasant atmosphere and welcome. Highly sensible menu and wine choices i.e. not too many to choose from and all reasonably priced; food and service was excellent. Will definitely be returning.

We booked a table for 4 unfortunately when we arrived for our booked time there was one table left by the door that opened & closed all the evening letting in cold as nobody bothered to close it we booked for 7-45 pm we finally received our first course at 8-55 pm after asking if we could have something to be getting on with the food was nice but we did not enjoy our experience especially when we went to pay & ‘accidentally ‘we had a bottle of of wine added to our bill, it was a shame as it’s our local restaurant &!we went again we would only go if we booked personally & made sure we chose our seating away from the door
