Excellent service lovely hot food and good value for money xx

We’ve been to this restaurant several times in the last 12 months and each time is just terrific! The food is incredible. Took our friends last night and they completely agreed it was amazing! Well done to the team there! Keep doing what you’re doing!

This is such a lovely Italian place. The food is amazing, I had the Lasagne and it was delicious with proper meat inside. All the staff are lovely. Would definitely go back again.

Il Laghetto is our go to local restaurant, always get a great pizza, amongst other offerings, with very friendly service at a decent price.

This was our second visit to this amazing local gem and we were not disappointed. Last night was our 32nd wedding anniversary and we couldn't have wished to spend it anywhere else - we even had red rose petals waiting for us on our table - great personal touch fantastic! Lovely little restaurant with a friendly team. I’d advised in the booking notes it was my daughter’s birthday - they took this onboard and brought out a desert with a candle on top. Very pleasing. She was over the moon. I sent over priced either. Will defo go again: 5stars from us :)

We have visited the restaurant a few times and the food and atmosphere is always excellent; the garlic bread is one of the best around and the chicken Milanese is superb. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of food provided and the chef is happy to accommodate requests to tweak dishes; it’s absolutely the best restaurant in Carshalton/Wallington and one we always enjoy visiting. One comment on last night - whilst the waiting staff were very friendly and helpful, the service did feel a bit rushed - our main course arrived before we’d finished our starter for example and they seemed keen to move quickly from course to course. We have previously stayed after the meal for another drink but last night didn’t feel appropriate to do so as there was an impression given that tables were being moved through quickly. As we say, the staff were very friendly, polite and efficient but it just felt like we were being rushed back out the door again.

Lovely little resturant. Good menu with all the classic dishes at sensible prices. Service discreet and staff very friendly.

The chicken and mushroom sauce was excellent, loads of it (too much for me!), as were the chips and vegetables. My only reservation was that for my taste the sauce was a little bit thin. But still, a very good meal for a very reasonable price, with drinks also reasonably priced, and service very good. Will return.

Lovely catchup with girlfriends and we all loved the food. I had vegetable pasta which was hot and had a great selection of vegetables - simple dish but very tasty. The staff especially our server were wonderful.
