The food is really outstanding! Great service and a great range of dishes. The naans are huge, but delicious, don't order too many! The service is really personable and friendly too, you feel really welcome there.

Have been going here for over 20yeqrs and am never disappointed.

Although it was a small menu, it meant that there was a greater attention to detail, the food was lovely and the service great. The waiter described the dishes perfectly and we could alter the heat of our curries. We have been to this restaurant many times over the years in all its different guises and this visit was the best we have encountered.

Excellent food in a relaxed friendly restaurant . Had dinner here at the weekend, I had the traditional lamb biryani which was excellent , really flavoursome high quality food. Highly recommend.

Awful food. Packed with powders to try to enhance flavours but making them overpowering and for those who don’t care about authentic ‘indian’ food!! They purport to be indian but the establishment is run by non Indians and the food is below average. Only positive is the staffs politeness! Shame as if they stuck to offering food from their own region it may fair better!

The food was good and the service attentive even though we had to wait 50 minutes from entering before we were brought our starters. The ambience is fine. We will definitely return.

Still our favourite for curry - authentic dishes well prepared. Good service as usual and as a bonus there is air conditioning. The 'special' lamb dish is amazing and is my favourite. My husband had the chicken hundi and he really enjoyed it!

The restaurant is clean with modern decor and comfortable seating with atmospheric lighting. There are candle lamps on each table which look lovely when lit. There is a well-stocked bar too. The staff are extremely welcoming and offered to explain the menu which we found very helpful in making our choices. The waiter offered to pass any requests to the chef regarding less chilli in my husbands meal. All of the food that came to the table was very well prepared and the poppadoms particularly crispy and not oily at all. We enjoyed our starters and the main course was very tasty and authentic - we both had the Pashto - one chicken and one lamb. The rice, nan and Bombay Aloo all excellent too. The family who run this restaurant certainly know how to treat their guests and make you feel at home. It's a shame we don't have more restaurants like this in Loughton high road

Warm and friendly service. Nice atmosphere. Really enjoyed the food, great flavours. The only disappointment was the coffee-very bitter. Will be going again and would recommend it.

Following a delicious takeaway a couple of weeks ago from the restauant we decided to book a table for Sunday evening. As expected the food was again delicious. We were a party of 4 and every dish was praised. The service was second to none and the general atmosphere was very pleasant. Great restaurant. Highly recommended.
