Having had to wait well over an hour for our starters, they then arrived in different times with the last coming out after the others had finished. They were disappointing with the one of them a chef's special consisted of 4 small pieces of chicken and what looked like a side of coleslaw, on a huge plate. Certainly not worth the billing of a chef's special. When the mains did arrive, again we had to ask for the parts of the orders that had not arrived, I can only describe as bland and steaming as if they had just come from a microwave. To top the evening off there was a large table of rowdy adults that were literally shouting across the table to each other which staff failed to do anything about. Although the manager did apologise at the end, and blamed everyone else it was too little too late.

Normally very good service. Have not been for quite a while and rather disappointed with the long waiting time to get main course. Hopefully better next time

Very quick service to be seated and served quickly. As it was a busy Saturday night in December service of the food was delayed but we were informed of this all the way by the staff. Food was excellent. Many thanks.

Booked late and got us in at short notice excellent service but was not aware of no license for alcohol but there's a shop nearby. Food tasty but lacked a bit of quality meat in some dishes.

Had a lovely time at India Red celebrating my birthday. The service was fantastic and the food was delicious. The 4 course banquet on Sundays and Wednesdays are superb value. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

We have eaten here several times now and the food is consistently good. There is a good range of fish dishes. The cabbage side dish is delicious. The staff are friendly and attentive. At busy times there is a wait for food, but it's worth it.

Was slightly annoyed that a 3 x £9.95 meal ended up costing £40, also noticed that seats were ripped and felt rushed to get the order over and done with. Disappointed to say the least :(

I am afraid it wasn't a good experience. It took far too long for the food to come out. Some of the meals were bland. My meal which is a meal I eat a lot was very very wrong. Rather than being sweet it was really sour. Not like a Dhansak at all. Would not go back.

Lovely staff, very good service and lovely food, tasted fresh and nice and hot with a wide selection of dishes to choose from, our third visit and it won't be the last.

I booked a table for 8 and had to cancel it in the end as there were some people poorly and childcare issues. I called the restaurant out of courtesy to inform them that the meal was no longer going ahead so that the table could be used and I had a mouthful of abuse saying “they had to turn customers away because of my table”. I tried to explain there was nothing I could do but he wasn’t interested. He continued to complain about the late notice and how I had cost him custom. I will not and do not recommend this restaurant.
