Indian Brasserie - Glasgow

Glasgow has a reputation for great restaurants that continues to go from strength to strength, and the Indian cuisine on offer is a long-time standout in the city. Ask your regular punter on the Ibrox omnibus about their favourite dining destinations in the city of Glasgow, and you’ll mostly likely hear the names of a few curry houses in there. Their regular shop for such service in the Paisley Road area is the Indian Brasserie, where they have been doling out Indian delicacies for over 20 years. Ideally located near Edmiston Drive and Ibrox Stadium, you can be sure of a warm welcome and a selection of Indian dishes to delight all who enter through their doors.

They’re easy to get to – on Paisley Road, a short walk from both Ibrox and Cessnock subway stations, as well as the main thoroughfare of the M8 – and when you get to the Indian Brasserie, you will be confronted with an extensive choice of Indian specialities. Try the Glasgow-devised favourite of chicken tikka chasni with an order of garlic naan, or go for something a little more obscure: we recommend the keema mattar, cooked with minced lamb and peas. Make sure you book your table in advance though, as they can get very busy.
