Indian Nights is a busy and popular restaurant. Reliable quality food, good service and nice easy parking. Does takeaway too.
We walked into a very warm and genuine welcome and were instantly impressed by the crisp white tablecloths and beautifully folded napkins, which were all stood to attention between shining cutlery. There were fresh flowers on the tables and the whole place was spotlessly clean. We chose one of the house speciality dishes and the tandoori mixed grill. As we waited we enjoyed popadoms with eight beautifully presented accompaniments. They were so enjoyable that we ordered more! Didn’t feel too guilty as we’d not ordered a starter. Good job we didn’t as the portions were very genourous indeed. The staff were attentive, polite and charming. Nothing was too much trouble. In fact I asked for a drink that wasn’t on the menu and they happily made me one anyway. For early on a Thursday evening it was surprisingly busy and it was clearly a favourite with many people as they were greeted like old friends when they came in. As we left, there was a warm goodbye and the door held open for us. We felt that our custom was valued and we had a wonderful meal. We’re fussy and critical and can honestly say that there was absolutely nothing to criticise. 100% happy. Our only regret is that we didn’t discover this gem sooner. We’ll definitely be back.
The service was execellent, not too much of a wait, when it did arrive it was really tasty and well presented. Would recommend you visit.
Best Indian food I’ve had for a very long while. The restaurant was packed all evening, which is a good sign. The service was efficient and courteous and they apologised that we had to wait a while for our main course, which we appreciated. I would thoroughly recommend this gem of a restaurant and will be back soon.
