About Indian Ocean - Romford

Located on Romford’s Rush Green Road, Indian Ocean is bringing a taste of India to London, with a menu that brings together the best dishes from all over the subcontinent. With its casual decor and friendly service, it is the perfect place for a relaxing meal with family or friends. We recommend starting off with the mixed starter (lamb chops, chicken tikka, onion bhaji and vegetable samosa) before moving on to one of the exciting chef specialities like the Raja -E-Garlic (king prawns with garlic and pepper in a thick sauce) or the chilli paneer. A favourite among local curry lovers, Romford’s Indian Ocean can fill up quickly, so book a table in advance to avoid missing out!

Food is high quality - no issue with the food. It was a Saturday night. The tables are quite closely packed. It was pretty noisy. Service was slow to begin with. If you are looking for a quiet evening chatting with friends this is probably not the place to go on a Saturday. Other times probably fine. I would say the food is definitely better than the average around Havering - and prices are low - so worth a visit.

Very good food. Friendly efficient staff. Would recommend to friends and family. The atmosphere was nice with Indian music playing. Very busy restaurant but the service was still very good.
