About Ira B's
Situated on Chelwood Drive, just off of Street Lane, Ira B’s serves up classic Jewish food with a bonkers mood. With its exposed brick walls, mismatched furniture, nostalgic decor and top hat lampshades, this quirky restaurant is winning over the hearts of locals, frequently hailed as Leeds’ best-loved restaurant. From bowls of homemade chicken soup with lokshen and knaidlach to an array of sandwiches, Ira B’s menu is full of hearty, deli-style American Jewish cuisine. We recommend The Grobbler sandwich filled with salted beef, and other delicious fillings include chicken schnitzel, fried fish, hummus and roasted vegetables, or chopped liver just like how your nana used to make. Located over in Roundhay, Ira B’s attracts diners from all over the city. Don’t just believe the hype – book a table and find out what all of the fuss is about for yourself!

Very nice meal, happy friendly staff. We sat outside in the sunshine on a lovely spring day with our dog who was well looked after too. I would certainly go there again.
Excellent quality food in a relaxed informal environment. The staff are chatty without being intrusive. Ira herself is bonkers in a lovely way. Four of us went for a quick snack and we're still there at closing time 4+ hours later soaking up the vibe.
Just fantastic I would highly recommend this restaurant for quality service and price to any body. You have got to try ira b's, you will love it
Wonderful find!! Ira and team were very accommodating we were a party of 7 ... took 86 year old mum for Mothers Day. Jolly, buzzing atmosphere, welcoming staff and fab food. Mega salt hit but plenty of Prosecco to wash it down with!
Amazing food and a warm welcome. We went for fathers days and had a really great time, even got to pick the music that was playing. Go people, it's ACE!!!!!!
We received excellent food and service from Ira as usual. It is a pleasure to go to a place where customers are treated as friends.
Great traditional Jewish food just like my mum makes. Yummy chicken soup with lockshen and kneidlach and chopped liver and gherkin on bagel. Great buzzy atmosphere.
