Istanbul Bar & Restaurant Harrogate

Five of us went pre cinema. The menu is varied and interesting. We had a good table in the window. Charming people produced delicious food promptly. Everyone was delighted. I strongly recommend this lovely restaurant.

They didn't seem to know about our booking. It seemed they were fully booked but when we said we'd booked through quandoo we got the impression that they realised they had made a mistake in not reserving us a table. they made a table for us but we felt a bit rushed. Food was nice though.

The food was very good just as you would expect in Turkey. We have traveled widely in turkey, so new what to expect. The service was again what I would have expected if I was in Turkey. We will return for more of the same.

Food amazing.. Staff are really friendly, service is A* can't find fault hence 6 rating. Nice to have choice of Turkish Greek food over the many Italian eateries in Harrogate (but they still do cracking pizzas if required)

Great atmosphere , made us feel as if we were on holiday abroad. Excellent service, and fabulous food, and such great value at 14.95 for two courses which included the biggest steak I have ever seen, cooked to exactly how we like it. It was my Husbands birthday and he was made feel very special . There were seven of us dinning and we all really enjoyed it. We will be back .

First visit to Istambul. Very impressed with our meals. Staff very pleasant and efficient. Will definitely visit again and again and also recommend to friends.

Friendly welcome and taken straight to our table, great fast service. The food came within ten to fifteen minutes of ordering, and tasted fantastic! The main came relatively fast too and was equally delicious! would recommend this restaurant!

Lovely meal, just a shame we were too close to the speaker when the belly dancing started as we couldn't then talk as the volume was too high. With a young child we rarely get to go out, so the belly dancing wasn't for us. Maybe avoid putting table for 2 close to the speakers....

Fantastic Turkish food made from fresh ingredients, service was excellent and it tasted amazing. I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough. The staf were warm and friendly.

We had an excellent night at the Istanbull. There was plenty of choice on the menu and the food was delicious. Could not fault the service. We will be going again for sure and would recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Great service, first ones in and ordered food. Starters came but got the vegetarian not the meat one we had ordered. Was not offered a replacement just told the chef chose the wrong one ! Very strange. Mentioned this again at the end and was offered a free tea/coffee !! Food was average. Will be trying other options in town in future.
