We had a lovely time. Meal excellent. Staff very attentive.

I enjoyed it very much. Our only problem was that the food was brought in the wrong order. We had the main meal before we had the starters, and then we weren't hungry and couldn't eat the starters. We would have liked the bread sooner so that we could use the dips while we were waiting.

Authentic Istanbul food near us. I would like to visit again. Only drawback was the card machine wasn’t working.

A really friendly place with lovely staff and great food. The only tiny issue was they only take cash which we hadn’t realised. I would strongly recommend this restaurant.

The iskender was delicios and the ayran also! My family loved the place! The food and the staff are very good ! It was a lovely night!

We very much enjoyed our visit to Istanbul restaurant where the service was very good and the food was lovely. We also noticed that the restaurant attracted Turkish people which is always a good sign. It felt authentic and was a pleasant atmosphere. It was part of our alphabetical tour of restaurants and so was our choice for the letter I. One slight criticism was the toilets. I think they could do with redecorating and in depth cleaning. Toilets in restaurants should in my view be immaculate, but so often they are not. This one was adequate but had a lot of plastic piping hanging down - its purpose unknown?! The music playing however was very pleasant indeed and reminded me of our holiday in Turunc a few years ago.

Very helpful staff. Although a good 'meaty' menue vegan friends found something which they reported as delicious as did I as a vegetarian. Highly recommend .

This place appears to be family run, its great. I have taken friends and family on five occasions now even when building work was being done the food was top notch, super tasty,fast and delivered with a smile.

The food was as tasty as always. The waiter was also very patient to answer my questions on the menu. Could be greater if they allow to order extra lamb ribs alone because it is my favourite and I want more of it.

Food was delicious and great staff. Thd place is a bit small but glad they're going to open another place in the city centre soon. Would recommend it to everybody.

Second time at istanbul and we enjoyed it just as much as the first time! The food is just lovely! And i have to add! There is ao much on tour plate. Well worth a visit. Would highly recomment

We couldn't fault it. Great service, friendly staff, fantastic food. We booked online which is really convenient. The decor and atmosphere is lovely and we look forward to trying out more dishes from the menu. this was our 3rd visit.

Took notice of other reviews and booked a table - good idea (Wednesday evening). Service very good and prompt. Very good that the waitress having taken our order repeated it back to us to confirm. Starters - Hummus and Russian salad - excellent and huge! Main courses very good incredibly filling. A confusion over the bill -partly my fault! - was very quickly sorted with many apologies from them. We will be back

The food was undercooked. The order was wrong and the meat was very chewy. Will not be coming here again. The staff were also moody.
