Italian Steakhouse

The sirloin was cooked beautifully but the quality of meat was not the best. There were a few black chips in the bowl, not sure why these were left on top. The pasta dish was average. The tiramisu was by far the best I have ever had and would recommend visiting just for this reason.

Food good, decor poor, staff good. Quite expensive! Oddly had as good if not better meal in Prezzo up the street night before & much cheaper!

Definally what makes the difference is the owner, a very caring thoughtful man who really cares about your experience at his restaurant! The food is good, the atmosphere is very Italian and it's a nice place for a dinner with friends!

Fantastic experience... great food and lots of it. Atmosphere was very friendly and service was outstanding with the owner attending and telling stories made it a great night for the whole family.

4 of us went for a meal and I think we ate enough foodfood to feed 8! The food was delicious and the portion sizes were massive. Great selection of food to choose from. Definitely worth a visit

This restaurant was brilliant. The first visit but certainly not the last. The owner was very friendly & welcoming. Not to forget mentioning the great quality food which was very reasonably priced. Welldone Italian Steak House, we'll be back. Bal Singh

Great food and friendly service. The wine was very good too and also had a good choice of food for the children, or pizza and burgers.

Excellent little restaurant, service was very quick did not wait longer to order or for starters and main course and food was of a very good quality. When they found it was my sons birthday they made sure he had a great night and also gave him a present and us shots which was a lovely touch. Would recommend.

The food was expertly cooked and delicious. The complimentary bruschetta were scrumptious and a nice surprise. Attentive service and friendly staff made you feel welcome. Would definitely recommend.

Steak was terrible and I paid £25 for large t-bone. Service very friendly but didn't like it when I said I was disappointed with the gristly chewy meat. No apology or offer to deduct from the bill or replacement. I was very surprised especially in these days of online reputation. May have been a one off and I was just unlucky. Lamb chops were good though.

Very nice food. Meats very good quality and flavoursome. Excellent service. Well looked after as always as same owner of viva Italia which is also another outstanding restaurant, hence why we wanted to try his new restaurant The Italian Steakhouse. Would definitely recommend both of these places to anyone. You would not be disappointed. Amazing

Very good service & food very good Wifi for kids was irritatingly slow But overall very happy with meal The bill came to a bit more than expected but stil was reasonable.

Both the food and the service were patchy. My wife's carbonara was inedible because of too much pepper, and the pizzas were slightly burned underneath. My lasagne, however, was fine. Despite there only being a few tables, the serving staff repeatedly forgot which food was for which table, and other diners had to wait for a long time (over 45 mins) for some of their food. Finally, there was a bottle of wine on our bill which we had not had. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.

A very disappointing second visit on a Saturday evening. The restaurant was virtually full but the staff seemed unable to cope with the demand . They commented they "were busy" but a restaurant is there to serve food. We were a party of six and our main courses arrived on a staggered basis. The mixed meat platter is reasonable value but was overcooked and the homemade lasagna very poor. Another table sent some food back because it was "inedible". Have to say I left feeling we had been to an expensive evening at the Italian version of Fawlty Towers....

Good food & very friendly staff, what more could you ask for. Advisable to book and tables are fixed so if more than 6 in your group 2 tables would be needed

Excellent food and service. A lovely family run restaurant! We enjoyed lovely caprese salads, garlic pizza bread, pizzas and meatballs. The tiramisu was heavenly. Thank you!

Food generally very good and good value. Pizzas very good. Lovely Base and plentiful toppings. The t-bone was a good steak, but unevenly cooked. Best ask to have it cooked medium. Chicken piri piri was just roast chicken served in a spicy red sauce, rather than marinated and oven cooked. Portions are generous. Service good. Decor and layout is a bit odd, a long narrow room with bright green seating all along one wall. I would definitely go back for the pizza and pasta dishes especially, though not somewhere I would book for a "dining out with friends for the evening" experience.

From the outside the restaurant looks more like a takeaway but is a hearty haven for meat lovers ! The mixed grill is a good choice.

I chose the Spaghetti with seafood. I have been on holidays to Italy many times and this dish was very authentic and tasty. Me and my Husband had the homemade tiramisu which also very good. The waiter was very friendly and the service was great. Recommend a visit.

Great food, we went back there 3 nights running and were always completely satisfied by everything we ordered. The service was exceptional as well and our children were made to feel very welcome.
