Service was spot on, seated quickly, both the drinks and food orders were taken within reasonable time and no pressure to hurry. Guys were brilliant and the food was on point especially the guiness cheese sauce!! 5 stars

Excellent burgers- as good as anywhere in Newcastle, the beer on tap was unusual with the excellent premium Vedett on tap.Service though busy was efficient and friendly .

It was yummy and worth it, I would reccomed it to anyone. There was no dispointed when I went there and the service was fast.

Couldn't have been better. Courteous staff, lovely food, great beer an cocktails and to top it off a lovely atmosphere. Much better than fat hippo and on par with dat bar. Thanks jam jar!

For a three course meal on New Year's Eve the price and quality were AMAZING. Accompanied by all of the staff being extremely friendly and professional, and wonderful live music to bring us in to the new year - Jam Jar definitely impressed.

4 burgers took over an hour to be made... manager blamed it on a large table in front of us but that shouldn't be an excuse, upon the food finally arriving it was nice.

I always come here for steak night on a Thursday. There's always a great atmosphere, friendly staff and good food! Would highly recommend to all! Cocktails are lush too.

Great venue, nice menu. Burgers - too tall, otherwise nice combos. Everything, burger and fries included need much better seasoning. The burger in particular was too earthy for my liking.

Was lovely! Onion rings were a little soft, but other than that all tasty, good value for money and a relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff too.

Quirky little place with good food and excellent cocktails. Staff friendly and helpful. Have eaten there a few times before and it's always very good.

I was a bit disappointed as I didn't realise they had stopped selling their Sunday dinners (which were A-Mazing!) they also didn't have any earl grey in stock :(

Food was great, although it took over an hour to come so we had finished our wine which would have gone nicely with our steak and it also took ages to pay... It pushed our night back considerably

Burgers were delicious but service was quite slow despite it not seeming too busy by the time we ordered. That said, i would definitely return.

Lovely food, not served as photos describe though. Tasty cocktails which are reasonably priced and decent service. I'd go again but it wasn't what I was expecting.

The food was very good but it took a long time to come out, this is the second time we have experienced this. Still a fan though!
