Excellent food, well cooked (within the limits of this style) - assume some of the food was part-cooked to even out cooking times. Reasonable selection of fresh food, suitable for vegetarian and pescatarian diets. Plenty of spices, herbs and "sauces" to apply before cooking. The "chefs" seemed to take good care to ensure that everything was well cooked. You watch them cook while you wait. Very nice atmosphere with subdued lighting, a pleasant view to a grassed area, and inoffensive music playing softly in the background. Staff not especially attentive: had to work each time to catch them to ask for drinks - didn't automatically ask if anyone else wanted a drink (not obviously trained to constantly look around for customers needing help). Nice was offered a jug and four glasses for water though when one of us asked for a glass of tap water. (Always find it odd that in UK it is not usual to automatically provide table water.) Tables are well spaced and not crammed in and the place is of moderate size. Was rather let down on the gluten allergy front for one of our four-person party - the person that took us to our table was able to identify one gluten free beer (not in menu) but couldn't say which of the sauces were gluten free but promised to find out and write them down for us. She never returned. I complained at the end when settling up and only gave them £10 tip on a £130 bill! (Was told she was the manager.) They should have ready access to allergens information these days. They offered to cook gluten free options in kitchen if common cooking area would be a problem. A sign reminding people which way to navigate the food section to fill the bowls would be helpful. We were, oddly, "told off" by a member of staff for standing in the wrong place which would be a problem, apparently, when it was more full later on. Unfortunately the people ahead of us had decided to fill their food bowls from the opposite end of the counter (at the meat end) from where they picked up the empty bowls, so we'd had wait them out.) Wasn't obvious where to enter the restaurant. Through the pub at the front (choice of two entrances, one past the toilets!) Decent parking to the rear, before and after the building.

Had a great Sunday lunch with family. Great food, which was regularly topped up, and relaxing atmosphere. Made welcome by the attentive staff without feeling pestered. Thank you.

Waitress didn't know what drinks were available. She told me that she didn't know as she didn't work on the bar! Food was good though and chef really friendly.

Whenever it's time to pick a restaurant for a birthday meal, I always pick Jenko's, the best food and something a little different. Love it!

Really nice food cook to perfection and drinks loved the cocktails a bit on the expensive side considering I didn't eat that amount of food but it was top notch.

Long wait for food on busy nights. They pay more attention to large parties and singing happy birthday to people than checking that you're ok. Waited 40 minutes for desserts to find out they hadn't even been offered. Was given them free though. Nice food.

Excellent food, excellent service. A bit pricy but great for special occasions. Had to queue for quite a while but taste of the food worth it.

Excellent evening and great food and Cocktails were amazing. As soon as we arrived we were told what to do by a friendly member of staff. We went up 3 times, selected our food and watched the chefs cook it for us. Absolutely delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our first experience of Jenkos and will definitely go back again.

I love taking friends to jenkos and introducing them to the Mongolian barbecue experience. Also the food is excellent and the staff friendly. Good ale available too. A lovely ambience in the restaurant. I've been going off and on for years never had ahbad experience.

You definitely need to book for early rather than mid evening as it gets very crowded round the cooking area at peak time, even midweek. The food was fresh and tasty, although we got better at combinations on our later visits to the cooking area than on our first. We will be back.
