Jordans Courtyard

We found Jordan’s courtyard by accident on our way to Cornwall. We stopped off there and had a delicious breakfast. We enjoyed it so much that we deliberately called in on our way home for lunch. This was also delicious! Have recommended to family and friends.

My daughter and I visited for breakfast. Lovely atmosphere, venue and friendly staff. The food was delicious. A lovely relaxed visit, highly recommend.

Staff were lovely but communication between kitchen and servers could be better especially with the gluten free requirements and the food that was arrived looked amazing and tasted great according the group that day

Sat outside so the noise wasn't a problem but my friend said that it had been for her on a previous visit when she sat inside. Range of food was good and the kitchen was flexible to meet the needs of customers.

Food was excellent. All of the stalls were aimed at very wealthy people. Loved the kitchen equipment shop… but couldn’t find any item under £30. Lovely to look at, but will not be coming back

It was all very good but the only thing I would say is that the cafe was about a quarter full but sadly our table was right next to the loos, which was not great with people going in and out the whole time- might have been better to put us elsewhere.

What a treat. A lovely atmosphere. I had a Salmon tart that was excellent.

Always great food - especially suitable for summer with a choice of eating indoors or out. No alcohol served but a wide choice of cold and hot drinks.

Good: people, food, choice, value Neutral: parking is invisible from the road, careful not to park in the adjacent company Weaker: seating next to the open-plan kitchen can be very noisy, eg when the blender is running. Open room with no soft furnishing exaggerates the noise. Sit closer to the door if hearing is an issue.

Staff were friendly but disappointed with the food. Had the BLT special, the sourdough had no mayo on top, just bottom, making it dry & hard to eat, 3 pieces of bacon could have had crispy fat rather than white, inedible fat. 3 Very thin slices of Tomatoes & 2 little gem salad leaves. The garnish mixed salad had a lot of old slimy leaves so had to leave. Not the best. Friend had goats cheese toasties which she said was good & the others had savoury scones which were very crumbly & a bit dry. On the plus dide the Coffee was really good. It was hard to hear each other talk as the machine for , I think, the milkshakes was so loud it echoed through the building. We have all come to Jordan's many times before but this time was a bit disappointing

Arrived to reserved table In a dark corner lights were either not on or bulbs needed replacing Cobwebs were hanging from the beems Drinks order taken Milk shake arrived with cream on when it was requested to be without. Menus difficult to read due to being printed on really dark brown paper & laminated so the shine made it a problem. 2 Gluten free breakfasts ordered & told we could replace the sausage & black pudding Be replaced with an extra bacon & egg A bacon roll & a bacon & egg roll The rooms came bread un buttered I ordered another cappuccino but did not arrive until I asked for it again I payed for the food but on return home checked the bill & the swaps on one of the GF breakfast I was charged for. The person serving table obviously left her smile at home It was not busy many empty tables But service appalling We will not be recommended8ng or returning

I love Jordan's. It's a fabulous cafe with wonderful, exciting food and a warm and friendly atmosphere. My only slight criticism is price. But I understand that everything is expensive and hospitality is suffering more than other businesses with their costs. I would visit more often if eating out was a little cheaper.

I met with 3 friends yesterday. It was lovely I could bring my little dog. The coffee was lovely though my cake was very disappointing I wish they hadn’t put cinnamon on the top and the icing was terrible sweet. The waitress was rather off hand and I felt she was in a hurry to get us through. We weren’t late!

Met two friends there and decided on coffee and cake. I had the lemon and poppyseed it was delicious. We wanted to catch up for a little longer so had apple juices too and never felt rushed. Staff were very accommodating.

Lovely coffee, nice fresh cake ,,service a bit slow though, only seemed to be one lady, taking orders, and doing serving and clearing tables.

The Jordans Court team were lovely as always; we had a baby and a dog with us and they made all of us feel very welcome. The food and drink were very enjoyable and we love the range of interesting, tasty and healthy options on the menu.

Excellent quality burger. From past experience can also recommend the chicken shawarma and the high quality of the salads. The choice and quality of cakes is also very good. Relaxed atmosphere and good service.

We went for brunch with a dog. The staff accomodated my request for a corner table without any problem/drama. The food was excellent and the staff attentive and it was a lovely experience.

A lovely place to visit for food , very tasty

Food was very good however, I booked at 11.30 and when we arrived we were told the next menu did not start until 12noon so we sat there with a coffee. At 12noon I asked if we could order and was told by the waitress she would check with the kitchen and she never came back. I checked again as 12:15 and I was told she was taking someone else’s order who had just come in and then she would come to us. Several groups came in after us and were served and received their food before us whilst we were still waiting. Communication from staff was very poor and I had to keep getting up to speak to staff at the counter. It was not busy staff were stood talking. Probably won’t be back.
