Thinking about making a Khyber booking?
Tackling private dining first, Khyber’s Croydon High Street premises offer a convenient central location to host a seated dinner for up to 60 guests or a cocktail and canape reception for up to 100. Khyber’s private dining area (and the exclusive Silver Room) takes up the entire second floor of the restaurant and boasts an independent cloakroom, bar and kitchen. It’s a stylish and atmospheric space to enjoy some of the finest Indian cuisine in London while you celebrate.
A great way to begin your feast at Khyber is to order either the seafood, meat, or vegetarian platter. The first features a mouthwatering fillet of organic salmon prepared tikka-style, while the best on the meat platter is the very special venison chapali and delectable duck samosa. In fact, this Croydon Indian restaurant specialises in South Asian game dishes, warranting a separate section on the a la carte menu: the hiran do pyaza consists of diced venison rump cooked in a garlic and tomato sauce, while the peri peri duck treats our favourite fowl to a peri peri marinade before pan-frying it to perfection and serving it along with masala mash and a spinach and mint sauce. There’s much to explore here, and with diners travelling from across London to do just that, it’s best to book well in advance.
