A very pleasant visit to meet friends there. It was a Saturday lunchtime and quite busy but the staff still managed to be cheerful and attentive. The food was of an excellent standard with plenty of choice even for me with my gluten intolerance. Will certainly be returning.

Service was efficient and pleasant , food was tasty and well presented . We were all, nappy with our chosen meals. Environment was pleasant and conducive to conversation with our friends, only criticism was that room was too warm. An enjoyable evening.

The menu was varied and I enjoyed both courses I had. The crispy beef starter was generous, spicy and very tasty. I would certainly recommend the smoked chicken and walnut salad which I chose for my main course. Nice to get a salad which consists of more than lettuce and tomato! The staff were friendly and the service was prompt.

Ambience good, food exceptional. Not sure I,m keen on dogs in a restaurant, but no-one else seemed to have a problem with it. Service prompt and polite. Friendly without being pushy!

Beautiful, relaxed and homely setting. All staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive. Menu choice was great, wine menu was even better. Starters were wonderful (Asparagus and Pate') the one main of Risotto was good but the chicken and walnut salad was rather disappointing. This may be just because I'm funny with textures... The dressing was only in the bottom of the bowl so the leaves were dry, there were dry raisins and walnuts scattered about, the chicken didn't seem to be breast, it was cold and almost jelly-covered with grease, I'm afraid I couldn't eat it. This was a first date so the last thing I'm going to do is complain about something that was being kindly brought for me (Awkward!)... so I decided to politely make out that I'd just eaten enough. (I think he knew!) Why didn't you complain? Because I think I'd just picked the wrong main for me. Everything that was coming out of the kitchen looked and smelled truly amazing. Plus I am also aware that someone else would prefer their salad like this. As said the venue was lovely and the staff really did add to what was already a cosy and calm atmosphere.

I started my meal with bread, olives oil and balsamic vinegar. The oil was pale and had no flavour, should have been put aside for frying. The bread, a boring soft bread roll The service and attention given by staff was good. However, the food did not match the qualitity and presentation that that be found at a pub in the same village. I had salmon, easy to cook and present. The salmon steak was small and served with risotto and peas. The skin on the salman was wet the taste of the salmon was bland. To finish: crumble and custard, very good. Come on Kings Arms, provide improved qualitity Salmon Steaks and use fresh greens and other vevetables. Remember, you are Worcestershire, a county that grows amazing produce

A lovely place with very friendly and helpful staff. The food was excellent and we didn't have to wait too long for it. We were placed on a table for 2 near the bar, which was ok when we arrived but as it got busier we did feel a bit crowded, but if we had been seated away from the bar the rating would have been a 6. To be fair we were asked if the table was ok when we got there so it may be that we would have been moved if we had said something then. We will definitely go back but I will ask if we can sit elsewhere!

The food (potato and spinach curry for me, chicken for my partner) was ok. However, three pointers: 1. If a customer requests bread rolls, they normally want them to arrive BEFORE the main course 2. Never serve a lamb kofta without a raita (too dry) and 3. If you tell the customer to take their table and wait for you to bring the menu, don't forget to do so!

Had crayfish cocktail ...minuscule amout of crayfish a dessert spoon full but lot of shredded lettuce not worth £7! Liver very dry and over cooked ....sweet potatoe and chic pea curry was fine but rice over cooked a just a big lump of goo....lamb kofta I paid extra for I couldn't eat as tasted off ....would not eat there again ....shame as local but I have been previously with friends a month ago who had complained about their meal but no offer of compensation or offer to change meal so felt there was no point even mentioning anything.

I paid £19 for a sirloin steak that was overcooked and dry. I can get a much better steak at my local pub for about £12 which also comes with nicer chips and better veg (and a better choice of sauces to accompany the steak). The pub has also been spoiled in terms of its decor - it used to look lovely and old inside and now they have painted the beautiful beam above the fire place in a cream paint. There is also naff wall paper on the walls which is designed to look like books on a shelf. The tables and chairs have got that 'trendy pub' look about them but the old dark wood tables and chairs looked much nicer.

Food great, staff helpful, maybe just menu choices could be more varied. Plenty of fish dishes and unless restaurant specialises in sea food, there could have been more of other dishes to choose from. Vegetarian option wasn't inspiring.

A lunchtime visit to meet friends. Pleasant ambience and friendly staff who were happy to cater for my gluten-free requirements. The light lunch menu is not extensive, but we each managed to find something suitable to order. Would certainly consider a return visit.

Always a big decision whether to go for" Starters or Desert". We chose the starters and we weren't dissapointed, we all said we would have enjoyed these as our mains (shredded beef, duck with blue cheese). Generous portions and very tasty. Could the mains top this, they surely did, steaks cooked to perfection, pheasant was amazing. The whole ambiance of the restaurant was warm and very welcoming, from the friendly and attentive staff to the log burning fires. We all agreed we had a wonderful evening and will be back. Thank you

Not visited for a while but more than satisfied with the quality of the food and service. Good choice of sandwiches, light bites and main meals at a reasonable cost. Ambience was lovely too, on a cold and wet day the log burners provided a very cosy atmosphere.

Very good meal and service. We always go for the pub food section if the menu. Burgers are home made and excellent and the wine list is good if a bit pricey
