Went early doors for a meal to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Haven’t been for a while but weren’t disappointed. Still the same friendly efficient service and a good choice. We opted for the midweek special menu, good choice and excellent value. Will definitely return.

greeted warmly when we arrived and shown to our label. table was a little small for 3 people really and we should have been moved.to another one as the place wasn't busy. asked for our drinks order the minute we sat down had to request a few mins. don't order the wine in a glass as it's awful. we settled for the set meal for three people and there was plenty of it. The yuk sung was fresh and very tasty. Duck pancakes were exactly what you'd expect. we then had a nice gap until the main course. Most of this was lovely the chilli need was just right and the beef in black bean sauce was hot and tasty. The sweet and sour chicken was a let down as it looked like 2 frozen pieces of battered chicken sliced up and a lot of sweet and sour sauce.on the side. Didn't appeal to us. The meal was finished off with coffee or ice cream. great value for.money but think the sweet and sour chicken needs rethinking. plus if.ypu work for the NHS you get 10% off the Bill!!
