About La Casbah
Tucked away on St Marks Road in Bristol’s Easton, close to Stapleton Road station, you’ll find a little piece of North Africa in the form of La Casbah. At this cosy restaurant you can feast on homestyle Moroccan and Mediterranean cuisine, with the traditional decor adding to the authentic experience. Tuck into some hearty lamb tajine, some Moroccan chicken (marinated pieces of chicken on the bone, cooked with olives, preserved and mixed spices served with salad and rice or couscous). Moroccan cuisine may be known for its use of succulent, slow-cooked meats but vegetarians won’t need to feel left out either with options like the aloubia (a casserole with cannellini beans cooked in a tomato, garlic and coriander sauce with mixed spices). Book ahead to guarantee a table!

Very good the food was great ,!the place is relaxing the atmosphere is good.staff very helpful and attentive, Would recommend to freinds and family as a good place to go .
We had a reservation for Saturday evening. We was first guest but after few minutes place was full. Everybody's can take own alcohol. Main dish cost max 8£. Greate place, taste meal, amazing service! We will be back!
We received a very friendly greeting from the waiter on our arrival and he looked after us very well throughout our visit, despite the fact that he was coping with a busy restaurant single-handed. The food was served promptly and was piping hot and prepared to an excellent standard. I would single out the vegetables in our tajines for particular praise.
1st time at La Casbah and will definitely go back, lovely food and warm and welcoming service. Anybody looking for a good value and great experience should try this little gem of a restaurant.
Love this little restaurant. Lovely ambience, the owner is a superb host and makes you feel very welcome. The food is amazing for the cost and it's a BYO! What's not to like! A little gem in the heart of Easton. Much better than the grumpy owners in the Indian restaurant nearby!
My self and my girlfriend tried after being recommended and we weren't let down.. Fantastic service, they really couldn't do enough for us, food was superb and the restaurant it self made you feel like you could of actually been in morroco. Will be returning for sure!
The service at the restaurant was excellent! The atmosphere was calming. I would definitely recommend La Casbah to my friends and family. Thanks for a lovely evening.
Dont be fooled by the outside, you have to eat here the food is lovely and what i really like is the personal touch you always get have eaten here twice now and would definitely recommend and go back again and again
Really good atmosphere. Food is of a good quality, plenty to choose from and is reasonably priced. Well worth a visit. It is worth booking as it can get really busy even during weekdays. You won't be disappointed.
Excellent value for money. Wonderful atmosphere, staff first-rate, food also first-class. Very unimposing outside, but cosy and intimate inside. Take your own wine (no corkage charge) and wine available near-by if you forget.
Lovely food and great service. £40 for 2 people,3 courses each and coffee. Great little place, look forward to going back again. Is this 25 words now?
Wonderful evening, great food & plentiful. We have been before & enjoyed our time there. Highly recommended. Service was excellent too. Will visit again when we're back in the area again
Food was very nice, very friendly front of house. Felt very easy and relaxed, not too bright, casual sort of feel, BYOB always a plus.
Was really looking forward to the food as I've been to Morocco many times and I found the food in Morocco wonderful, but I found this food tasteless, I don't know if it was a one off. But I was very disappointed. Sorry
