Took my boyfriend with me this time, was such an amazing experience, yet again. The waiter was so helpful and our food tasted really great and fresh. Would definitely return... again! My new favourite restaurant.
Food was amazing! Very antique looking restaurant and lovely staff. Our waiter was great and very friendly. The noise levels were perfect. Amazing quality at an amazing price. Will definitely be going again. 😌
Really friendly staff! Amazing pizza and really tasty wine. It was a really relaxing evening, the food didn't come out too promptly or too slowly.
Hi me and my husband had a really good time at La Cucina yesterday. The service and food was amazing. I would definitely recommend people to go eat here.
From entering the restaurant we were made to feel very welcome and the La Cucina experience just got better and better the waiters and waitresses were all so friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The food was delicious and myself and my partner agreed that we had possibly just had the best pizzas we had ever eaten! Brick Lane may be famous for curry's but this is a little gem of a place and next time we are in the area we will be returning!
We visited this restaurant with a voucher for a pizza and alcoholic drink, not expecting it to be anything more than acceptable. However the pizza was excellent, freshly made and prepared within sight of our table. Outside of Italy it was one of the best pizzas that we've tasted. Setting is very modern, clean and bright with natural light provided from a glass roof midway down the restaurant. Staff polite and efficient. Our special deal was good enough to encourage us to revisit whenever we are in the Brick Lane area of London and pay the standard rates from the menu.
Food quality and the friendly welcome from the hosts is top notch. We love this restaurant and it is one of our favourites of all time. If you like a tipple then try the house wine (either white or red) as this rates highly with us. The menu is extensive and portions are generous. You will not leave hungry or be rushing to the nearest burger joint to top up afterwards like you would with other Italian restaurants in London. Happy dining!
La Cucina had fantastic service and even better food! The tomato sauce was perfect and great little find in Brick Lane. Saw about 6 deliveroo pick ups in the 1.5 hours we were sat.. they're doing something right 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
The red wine was good and the starters tasty, then we were not very happy with our mains. My boyfriend's pasta had way too much cream in it and me I didnt really fancy a pizza on a medium-thick underbaked dough with flavour-less tomato sauce. The service was fine all evening until we wanted to pay the bill... All members of staff were ignoring us, not even looking in our direction or passing by quickly, trying to tidy the restaurant up before closing. It took more than 10 minutes until somebody noticed that we wanted to pay and leave. But before that all evening there was someone available if we needed anything.
Once again, delicious food, great service and value for money. I don't think there is another restaurant in London that can beat their high standards every time. My partner and I are regulars and each dining experience has been fabulous. I've rated 'average' for waiting time and noise as the food arrives in good time (not rushed or too slow). The noise level is just right with gentle jazz in the background.
