La Gondola

Lovely meal everything cooked fresh, and the staff are so friendly. This was the first visit for our friends, and they loved it. It will not be our last.

1st time visit. Definitely will go again Lovely food and atmosphere. Busy, so g!ad we booked via internet, easy to do. Menue just what we wanted.

Four of us went to La Gondola on Friday evening 16.06.2017 after receiving recommendations from other friends and work colleagues. We were not disappointed at all, the service was good, the food excellent, we all thoroughly enjoyed it, we will definitely be going back there and would recommend it.

Very cute restaurant, with authentic Italian food. Both of us were very happy with our dishes, and the staff were very accommodating to modifications to dishes. Would definitely go back

Very welcoming. Quality of food very good. Had a problem with main course but sorted straightaway. Chef came to our table to ensure everything was good. Will definitely revisit.

The food was tasty and there was lots of choice. The arrival of the food was also well timed, and well priced. Tiramisu was absolutely delicious!!

Really good food at good prices in a friendly relaxed atmosphere. Wine also very reasonable. The only slight downside was that a couple of times the table was cleared almost before we had finished the course.

Absolutely lovely food and wonderful, personalised service. As always, one of our very best places to eat and certainly the best Italian restaurant in Loughborough.

Very pleasantly surprised. Excellent meal and good service. Will certainly be visiting again. Only slight downside for a teetotaller was the limited choice of soft drinks...... choice seemed more suitable for children.

Good food, reasonably priced, cooked by an Italian! It's a cosy, intimate, family run business with good service. I recommend La Gondola folded pizza - I haven't ever finished one yet, so I have the pleasure of taking some home for the next day.

A lovely place that is nice and cosy. It has really great staff who are friendly, dont keep you waiting. Food was served fresh and made to order so each plate was nice and hot! Loads to choose from on the menu and will also make food to request to meet eveeyones needs. Will go again!!

We enjoyed our latest visit to La Gondola. The food was great as usual and the staff friendly. The lunch menu was very good value.

Took our Finalist Student Son out for a slap-up Meal, when recently visiting (his mother does like to see him properly fed...) The reviews are accurate - this is one of the BEST small family run Italian eateries that we've had the pleasure to experience - clearly a labour of culinary love - and nothing we tried (especially recommend the Gondola house-speciality Folded pizza and Seabass on Special, plus Cheesecake or Gelato for dessert) was anything other than fantastic! Mother now content, and three MASSIVE thumbs up from us - Great Service and Food. Would be back (I suspect) weekly, if lived anywhere locally (sadly not). HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

It's a nice cosy place. Perfect for a romantic evening when you prefer a quiet ambience. Food is really lovely. I will definitely go back.

Fab night as always! Plenty of choice, everything is so fresh & tasty, something for everyone! Everything is made to order, so you can add/take out anything you want from the dishes (Handy for vegans/vegetarians) Cant recommend La Gondola highly enough!

La Gondola is an excellent restaurant. The service is always top notch and the foot totally authentic as the chef is Italian. It's also excellent value, especially the midweek and lunch time deals. Try it - you won't be disappointed.
