First visit to this restaurant to celebrate my dads 92nd birthday. We visited at lunch time on the May Bank Holiday so the restaurant was not too busy which was perfect. We were immediately made to feel welcome and the food was amazing. Definitely will return soon!

Food is incredibly good value, while being very high quality genuine Italian food. The staff are also friendly and service is very quick and swift

It was very disappointing… food wasn’t great, it was very cold in the restaurant and no atmosphere. Calamari was frozen not fresh and my husband meal wasn’t good at all. Not going there again… 85.00 the bill… 😳

We Arrived for 13:30 and was shown to a table near the main door which was at times cold. The Staff Kept asking what our meal was like but they were all so accommodating/Above and beyond restaurant hospitality. I thought as it was valentines they would rose flowers for all the women and the set menu from the website. May the Set Menu is for the evening? The Drinks could have been served in tall glasses/You Could Get Rid of the Tomato Juice. We as A Party of 3 appreciated the cream walls and arches - When would they get rid of the Dessert Menu for something Special? The La Meridiana was not packed as we expected on both floors/children well behaved! We all found the original Italian feature very heart warming. All food presented well and served hot. Plenty of Parking at this hour of the day. We Could with a few alongside a river complex. Thank you for TAKING OUR BOOKING ESPECIALLY WITH A WHEELCHAIR/

Lovely service, great food and nice surroundings would recommend .

The lights were off during the time I was at the restaurant. However, I was seated near a window, so it wasn't too dark. It just looked dull inside. The Gents loo didn't smell very fresh, and there was a mop and bucket left inside the stall. Not impressive! The food was good, albeit with a limited menu, and the service was good - but there were only three tables being used.

We had a fantastic meal, we all had delicious courses and the service was great. I have to eat gluten free and had THE best gluten free pizza. We will definitely be back!!

Our first visit and we will return to try other items on the menu. The veal escalope was tasty and a generous portion. Service was excellent and very friendly.

As we were the only couple in the restaurant the atmosphere was a bit lacking, but the waiter tried hard to make up for it!

Absolutely delicious food - calamari, gnocchi, carbonara, pizza - you can tell it is all freshly made, real Italian food. Would recommend

We were happy with the overal food and general level of service. The waiter assured us the fresh pasta did not have egg in it! (as my husband is very allergic) this surprised us, so we ordered tagliatelle based dishes and starters that we thought had no egg in them. When one of the types of starter turned up the same waiter did apologies and admitted there was egg in one type of the starters chosen and that yes there was egg in the fresh pasta. To be helpful we agreed to share the egg based starters with our other guests. We then changed my husbands order to avoid egg. We had arrived at 7.30pm on a Friday night and were very aware of being hurried to complete our evening and post meal conversations by 9.45pm! Not exactly a late closing, but, by then we were the only 4 people in the restaurant. I won't be in a rush to go back. Style over content and not high standards of service. Maybe that's why the restaurant was not very booked up??
