Absolutely delicious food - calamari, gnocchi, carbonara, pizza - you can tell it is all freshly made, real Italian food. Would recommend

We were happy with the overal food and general level of service. The waiter assured us the fresh pasta did not have egg in it! (as my husband is very allergic) this surprised us, so we ordered tagliatelle based dishes and starters that we thought had no egg in them. When one of the types of starter turned up the same waiter did apologies and admitted there was egg in one type of the starters chosen and that yes there was egg in the fresh pasta. To be helpful we agreed to share the egg based starters with our other guests. We then changed my husbands order to avoid egg. We had arrived at 7.30pm on a Friday night and were very aware of being hurried to complete our evening and post meal conversations by 9.45pm! Not exactly a late closing, but, by then we were the only 4 people in the restaurant. I won't be in a rush to go back. Style over content and not high standards of service. Maybe that's why the restaurant was not very booked up??

Birthday celebration held on a Thursday lunchtime. Luckily there were 6 of us as the only other table occupied had 2 people. Rather on the quiet side and very cold when first arrived, however after a few champagne cocktails, we were more relaxed. Might have been nice for the staff to have been more attentive given the amount of money spent! However enjoyed the experience none the less.

We sat outside so lovely atmosphere. Our waiter was friendly and attentive, service was excellent but waiting time for food a little long especially with children. That said, food is cooked fresh and our order was varied so understandable ( and we didn't have starters). Food was delicious, everyone happy.

So disappointing! We waited absolutely ages for our starters, eventually being brought out olives and bread to allay our hunger, my husband was given the wrong meal and then had to wait another age for another steak which when it came was rare when he’d asked for medium rare. We’d also ordered a side to share with the mains that didn’t come and as the rest of us had finished by the time my husband’s correct meal came, we said we no longer wanted it. My daughter’s pasta wasn’t good, it had a couple of pieces of courgette and the prawns were extremely chewy which put her off eating them. A spoiled birthday meal which was very disappointing and has put us off returning.

The whole thing was lovely, I had lobster which was delicious and my companion had beef medallions which he said was delightful.

Sorry but the steak wasnt cooked as ordered and never had a pizza that is soggy, watery and bland.. So pricey as well.
