We had a friend who was gluten intolerant we informed the restaurant and when we dined she questioned the menu and was told the menu was gluten free. Unfortunately she has been really poorly all night and it totally spoiled it for her. When you ask you need to be told the truth.

Ive eaten with you before but it didn’t feel quite the same experience on this visit unfortunately. Portions were fairly small and we were crowded with staff close to our table. It felt a little under par from my last visit.

A table for two on Christmas Day, early enough to leave time for a festive walk afterwards. It was quiet when we arrived but we were warmly welcomed. We had the festive menu, mulled wine on arrival, poppadoms and pickles, delicious vegan soup followed by 2 different veggie starters which we shared. We had 2 veggie thalis as our main. Delicious combination of flavours and a good size to leave us satisfied but not overfull. Again, we had different deserts, good choice for all. The first time they had made Xmas pudding, it was a really healthy version with a great nutty and fruity flavour. As expected, it was very busy and very loud at times but a good atmosphere. Friendly staff who kept checking in on us. There were traditional turkey options for those who didn't want the Indian experience but we didn't go there, why would we with such great food on offer.? My first time visiting, but won't be my last.

Good atmosphere and service with a good selection of food and drink to choose from however the quantity was the main issue. We both had the chicken special and there was a lack of chicken. Probably only about 4/5 pieces for the curry dish which was disappointing. Good flavours and service, just need to sort out the portions

Loved our meal and experience! The food was great, really tasty This was our first visit so we had the selection of 4 curries with rice and naan. There was also a piece of popadom and spicy chutney, and a little sweet on the plate. So good to taste a range of dishes and with perfect portion sizes. Great atmosphere inside, it was busy on a Thursday night, some large groups as well as small. We came to celebrate a birthday, I mentioned it subtly on the online booking and the team at Lagan pulled out all the stops! Unfortunately my partner didn’t want a dessert so I thought my surprise was not possible… Still the team brought out a cupcake, candle, and with happy birthday written on the plate! The team all had an instrument and we sang happy birthday together 🥳 Thank you so much again for going the extra mile, you made it a special evening we really appreciate the effort and personal touch🙏😄 Will be back again soon!
