Food was exceptional, service great, ambience likewise, definitely be coming back

The food was fresh, hot and tasty but too spicy for us despite ordering mild curry’s. Large portion sizes and prawns cooked perfectly and plentiful, but night spoilt by being asked to leave the table after 40 mins as we finished food. The bar area was too loud

The food and drink as always was good but the service left a lot to be desired. We arrived at 8.30 and immediately the priority of the staff, in particular a male waiter was to urge us to order our mains asap, even though we hadn't even ordered our starters. I ordered the starter at 8.40 and once again the waiter approached us again urging us to order our mains aswell to which we said we will by the time for last orders. Our starters arrived at approximately 8.50ish at which point we were once again asked about ordering oir mains, this time by a female waiter, to which we replied we will by the time last orders are due and then one final time we were again asked about ordering mains, so we finally ordered them at about 21.15. The constant nuisance from the staff was quite off putting. With the lack of senior management on shift this evening, it seemed the staff were more concerned with clearing the tables and getting rid of the customers so they could go home early, indeed the male waiter told us the kitchen can close even earlier depending on there work load or lack off work load. We spent approximately £350 this evening but left feeling underwhelmed.

First time visiting there and they said me and my family next to the doors that everyone uses to go out no only was people just going past it was freezing the door keeps opening food was getting cold with the door but apart from that food nice x

We were greeted by a member of the team, swiftly seated and menus brought to us. When we ordered our food, we didn’t have to wait long for the starters and you could tell it was freshly cooked and tasted great.

The food was lovely, the overall experience felt very rushed staff wise. Starters and mains came out together and no sooner had the forks hit the plate they were taking them and I wasn't quite finished eating 🤦🏻‍♀️

Fast, pleasant service and very good quality food. There are a lot of Indian pubs and restaurants in the area this is one of two excellent ones.

Quick to be seated to our table, possibly my favourite beer Butty Bach on tap - superb ! Staff were great. Food was lovely, chilli prawns were big albeit a bit too spicy for the wife ☺. Lamb chops were good, maybe would have liked them cooked a bit more for my liking. Lamb madras was lovely, garlic naan also lovely. Wife's chicken balti was great. We should have ordered our starters/ small plates first and then ordered mains after because there was a lot of food presented to us all at once. We'll know next time. Overall we really enjoyed it, it has been recommended a few times to us and we'll definitely go babk. 👍👍🍺🍺

Great food, but didn’t enjoy the service. The staff were too efficient at trying to clear your table and we were asked several times if we had finished so they could clear up, and we were still eating which wasn’t great.
