Lazy Hill Tavern

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit again. Great food and staff so nice. The Conservatory bit was a bit cold but we soon warmed up when eating our food which consisted of large grill, masala chips and curry sauce.

Lovely food and great service as always. Excellent value for money too.

The restaurant is lovely and all Christmassy The food is really excellent and we’ve visited a few times as we live about 7 miles away! The biryani spices in the rice are so fresh and tasty. My friend had chicken tikka masala again so fresh and tasty My choice was Chicken Tikka so plump and juicy 6 lovely large pieces I had to take a couple of them home!! Also a good choice of beer and we chose Butty Bach !!

There was a difference in the food this time. Usually there’s a small side salad included but not this time and the food was just soso. Normally the mixed grill is really tasty. Something has changed. Maybe the meat is brought in flavoured now rather than prepared in house/ fresh? Disappointing this time but was ok.

Ample, delicious portions. Good vibe. Can’t wait to come again

Table of 10 - a gathering of friends in a lovely setting. The food was piping hot, prepared quickly and beautifully spicy. The service was superb, and the background music delightfully energetic. It's a great venue.

We visit here regularly and we have never ever had a bad meal. I have found my go to dish but the rest of the family love to try different dishes off the menu and have loved them all. We love the busy atmosphere of the place and it’s not a place that’s formal and ott which isnt us and I think this is why we enjoy it. The staff are also lovely aswell and really work hard to keep you happy

Great food, atmosphere, service. Good portions, able to take some hone. Amazing.

It was a week day so a fairly quiet visit, weekends are much different. Food was nice, staff were ok only downfall was that some meals arrived 5-10 minutes before the others and its nice to d=eat together.

Service was awful had to order food and drinks separate and then they missed the rice off the order had to wait for the rice

First time at your venue. Was recommended by a very good customer if mine the food was spot on .. Very tasty and orthentic The only problem the 4 of us had was the main came to us and we hadnt finished the popadoms and tray …and the waiter kept pushing the main meal on the table. And we hadnt got room really. We had to stack the baskets on top of each other to make room I know its a fast turnover and will return regards. Steve myatt and party

Food is amazing, staff are very polite and friendly, the restaurant is lovely, my only negative opinion is it's very noisy, and music was load.

Food and service excellent. However we did find it to be quite chilly where we sat near to the conservatory.

Main food was great. Felt rushed, when we sat down got told what time we had the table till. A wrong pudding was brought, and the other pudding brought was frozen.

All though the food was amazing we did feel rushed. Food came really quickly and as soon as a plate was empty it was take. There was a heater in the corner of the area and it was giving an oil like smell off it. Very off putting and one group of people got moved

Great value for money. The mixed grills are a good compliment to a curry.

The resteraunt was very lively. I tried the chicken tikka jalfrezi, which tasted lovely. Another good all round experience.

The food was fantastic as usual but there was a large group of men that were very loud and who were swearing a lot. We literally ate our food and went which was a shame as we didn’t get to enjoy an evening out. I shall definitely reconsider booking again unfortunately.
