I’m extremely disappointed with the service from the kitchen today. The quality of the food was shockingly poor, and both the chef and staff fell well below expected standards. It’s hard to believe this is the same place I’ve been coming to and recommending for so long. There was a complete lack of customer care or attention. I strongly urge management to retrain the kitchen team and staff to restore the standards this place was once known for.

The atmosphere and friendliness of the staff is first class. The food is always outstanding and we’ve never had a bad curry here. Highly recommend.

Great food of epic portion size, enough for another meal the next day. Dining space near the kitchen suffers from kitchen fumes and smells so it’s best to book a table in the conservatory particularly when the weather is fine and the folding roof is open. Highly recommended.

1st time visit after recommendation from friends, well impressed, large grill had to be brought home in a box(👍), Table clean as soon as vacant, lovely feel to place. Only slight negative was parking but not enough to prevent return visit

Great atmosphere and considering it was really busy, our food came fairly quick. We are vegetarian and noticed the Soya Tikka had changed. Honestly the previous one was better, but still nice.

Absolutely fantastic evening at lazy hill! Our friend recommended we go after she visited last week. 7pm table booked and it was full and very busy but food came out quick and was beautiful. The staff work really hard and didn’t stop all night. Absolute gem of a place; really reasonable and drinks were cheap too.

We share a mixed grill, which was plenty for two with some wings leftover to take home for lunch the next day

My husband had a chicken madras, which he said the chicken was cooked perfectly not over done and hard and the level of spice was just right for that dish

I have been eating at the Lazy Hill since it opened and never had a poor meal service and value is excellent

Our party of 4 arrived shortly before our booking and quickly received our drinks at the bar before heading into the restaurant. The table we were going to be allocated was right next to where people queued for their food, but they managed to sort out another table in a better place for us. There was quite a long queue to order our food, but seemed to move quite quickly. As usual the large mixed grill, masala chips, curry sauce, chicken jalfrezi, egg fried rice, chicken burger and chips was hot, delicious and very tasty. Really looking forward to our next visit.

Not good, there was drunk people outside when we arrived and even worse when we left, drunk table also while we were eating. Its shame because the food and service is excellent but this is getting worse, will stop people from coming

The food was absolutely fantastic and the whole family really enjoyed it. The only slight criticism I would have is that it was very warm inside the restaurant itself but that doesn’t attract from the whole experience at all.
