Taking a seat at the low tables, the sociable atmosphere of Middle Eastern and North African dining – a pan-Arabic heritage that characterises every aspect of this restaurant’s offering – is infectious. Le Menar aims to preserve tradition even as they offer a progressive, modern menu, and it’s to their credit that they’ve struck the balance just right.

Le Menar’s Fitzrovia location down Cleveland Street, close to Goodge Street tube, means it is easily accessible from Soho and Marylebone, and ideal for casual dining or larger gathering and celebrations. Whatever the size of your party, expect to be indulged with dishes such as Lebanese tabbouleh and baby okra salads to start, classic Middle Eastern grilled dishes like lahem or kofta mishiwi, shish tarouk, or a mixed grill platter that’s ideal for sampling the incredible breadth on offer from Le Menar’s Arabic kitchen.
