Leonardo Ristorantino

This was our 3rd visit to Leonardo’s and it never fails to deliver. The food is probably the best I’ve ever tasted and the service from the waiter we had was 1st class - very attentive without being intrusive. A hidden gem and we’ll definitely return for more great food and service.

We were a party of 4 and from first arriving at the restaurant the service was top class. The staff were friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious and well presented and with generous portions. I would not hesitate in recommending this place.

Yet again a fantastic evening at Leonardo"s. Great food, great service and all at a very reasonable price. Whether it's the steak, fish, pasta or pizza, everything is fresh, hot and very tasty.

the warm welcoming atmosphere hit us as soon as we walked in .. and the food was just out of this world .. leonardos is definitely top of my list!

Celebrated my daughter's birthday here last week. Lovely restaurant, very friendly staff and the food is amazing! I have been 3 times now and never been disappointed. I highly recommend it!

Lovely food, huge pizzas which my son couldn't finish, so they boxed it up for us to take home. Great service, the waiter was very friendly. It was my daughter's birthday and when they brought out the desserts, my daughter's had a candle on :)

Lovely atmosphere, great food, great service. Highly recommend it. It's a little hidden away but don't be put off. Easy parking less than 50 yards away.

Food was lovely, waiter was really friendly and attentive. Lovely informal atmosphere. Would highly recommend. Only negative is address is Victoria Road but the entrance is actually on Byron Street.

Superb food. Italian fine dining style.Having tried other Italian restaurants in Swindon this was is by far the best. Service was quick and friendly. The food was freshly cooked, tasty and such good quality. Would recommend.

Really lovely food with generous portions and reasonable prices. The restaurant is clean and intimate with very helpful and friendly staff. We had a pizza to share between 3 of us which was filling then had the 2 chicken dishes and salmon pasta. All were delicious and we were gutted we were gutted that we couldn't manage dessert.

Absolutely fabulous evening from start to finish....it was my wife's birthday and she loves Italian food. The service was first class and we were amazed how reasonable the bill was.

We came as a group of 4 on new years eve we have used restaurant before and have been impressed with friendly staff and excellent food new years eve was no different however since my previous visit i have been diagnosed with celiac disease so can't eat food containing gluten i was concerned that attitude to this when mentioned did not fill me with confidence there was no gluten free menu and though you had gluten free pasta waitress when asked if meal i had chosen was ok for me seemed a bit casual when saying it should be ok i wasnt filled with much confidence with the casual approach to this intolerance for me it is a serious condition and like to fill confident when i eat out but did not on this occassion which was a shame as we like the restraunt before our experience with this.

Great food with very good sized portions for a very good price in a welcoming relaxing atmosphere. My wife and I had a lovely evening and Will definetly go again.

It was my birthday so I wanted to try something completely different. I must say the service was amazing from booking confirmation to reception was great. The food is first class. The waiter was soon nice. We had a lovely time. I willove definitely recommend to everyone.

Very attentive waiter, but it was a quieter night at the restaurant. Awesome scallops, fresh and not overcooked. For my main, he was happy to turn a normal pizza into a calzone and add extra ingredients at no additional cost. I left extremely satisfied and happy.

Had a lovely birthday celebration for my daughter last night. Food was excellent, special requests were catered for without hesitation and the service was excellent.

Great food and friendly service, small restaurant which I prefer. Would be a good choice for an intimate meal although mine was a family visit.

Our meal here was well cooked . Pasta was fresh and tasty. and service was attentive . We will go again . You need to be able to climb steep stairs to get in.

Quite simply, the best Italian restaurant in Swindon. Excellent food at a competitive price and always made to feel extremely welcome by Rodney, Frederica & the chef, Leonardo himself. Highly recommended.

Service was a bit slow but the food was delicious as usual. The staff were also incredibly courteous and polite, despite us keeping them at work for longer, and almost doubling our original party size. Thanks

Slow with bringing out the starter. Interrupted our conversation to ask if everything was OK. If anything wasn't OK - we'd have complained. No need to ask!

Jave been a couple of times now and on all occassions have ecperienced great food and service. Doesn't lookuch from the outside but warm and cosy once you get in.

Starters and main courses were very good. The side dishes are a let down - must do better than simple steamed vegetables. The list of drinks is good, the choice of wine too. Staff is very welcoming and attentive; they were happy to serve kids portions even though they do not figure on the menu. The restaurant is small and it filled up quickly, but at no time did it feel overcrowded. The place is too expensive for what it really offered. There are other places in Swindon that also offer good, authentic Italian cuisine, but with better side dishes and less pricey. Overall, we enjoyed our visit but wished the bill had come in at about 10% cheaper.

Well worth a visit, we will go back soon! Friendly service too. I'm lactose intolerant and they offered an alternative sauce for my Fillet steak, which was nice.

Lovely food, really attentive service. I asked for a recommendation and was advised the Seabass was good. It wasn't good, it was delicious - the sauce was creamy with sundried tomatoes dotted through it and it had a beautiful flavour of brandy - served with roast potatoes & vegetables. Good price & highly recommend.

At the restaurant, the freshly cooked food was delicious , friendly staff. It was good value for money . Would recommend it for a nice meal.

The food was very tasty. Service was very quick and polite. Prices were more than reasonable. Menu had a good range of food to choose from.
