For breakfast at Lids Tapas & Cocktails we highly recommend trying the bacalao seco con tomate ajo y aceile(dry cod with tomato, garlic and olive oil), or if you’ve got more of a sweet tooth in the morning order the torrijas which consists of fried bread in milk and eggs, sprinkled with sugar. If you’re heading for lunch or an evening meal at Lids Tapas & Cocktails, you can choose from delectable dishes such as pulpo a la gallega which involves octopus served on a bed of boiled potatoes, sprinkled with sea salt, smoked paprika and a drizzle of oil or queso frito con miel where goats cheese is deep fried and served with honey. As you can see Lids Tapas & Cocktails is quite the gem, and its ideal location in Cleethorpes centre means it’s a busy spot – so make sure you book in advance!
Food and service excellent.Back ground music not in keeping with style of restaurant. Sounded more disco type when something more traditional would be better.(Spanish?) otherwise 10/10.
The atmosphere feels very authentic and the waitor was attentive and genuine. The food was delicious, every dish was cooked perfectly and the cocktails tasted fresh and there was good variety. We had a great evening.
Food was fantastic, huge selection of cocktails to choose from! Didn’t particularly like the style of music, softer background music would have been better. Will definitely go again!
Lovely atmosphere and service! Had the paella for two and it was amazing and such a variety of drinks, especially gin which were all lovely that we tried! Would defiantly recommend.
Ok so nice place ,but very cold , friendly staff ,but very slow service and it wasn’t over busy , our 4 first choices of wine not available ,l!!!!!! Then we ordered starters and they never appeared so we had to ask , to be told it would come later so we cancelled the starter , a little disappointing, food good gin and tonic excellent
Food was nice but I can cook a better paella. £6.25 bottle of prosecco in Tesco was served & we were charged £18.50! Service very slow when got there, sat for a long time with no attention, waiters frantically running up & down the stairs. Got chatting to one of the Portuguese waiters later on who was lovely. I’d go back with my expectations lowered.
Fantastic food, cocktails and service. Very attentative staff and quick to serve you. Excellent evnging had for our 7 year anniversary meal. Would recommend for date nights or larger affairs! Great night all round!
The waiter was so nice, went the extra mile for people and was running around make sure everyone was okay! Can tell he enjoys his job. Sorry I forgot his name.
Fantastic serves and the food tasted absolutely amazing. Would definitely recommend and will be returning for sure. Cocktails was a little expensive but again tasted amazing. Definitely work a visit.
Great place set in the heart of Scartho. Lids is small with a huge personality. Swift service and lovely tapas. Fabulous retreat for an after work eatery.
