Lokhandwala Fitzrovia is an homage to Lady Charlotte Fitzrovia, a British aristocrat during the Victorian era who loved and tragically, was fooled. Taking inspiration from this scandal, this elegant and magical Indian restaurant captures traditional Indian flavours and cuisine to create a sensory experience to remember. This London space is decked out with an array of plants, colours, bespoke furniture and unique crockery which complements the menu perfectly. Select tapas dishes like the stuffed portobello mushrooms filled with apricot green jelly and feta; Amritsari fish and pan-seared scallops served on a bed of smoked pepper sauce and masala apple, or sample the lobster curry or inspired slow-cooked lamb curry. Located on Charlotte Street, Lokhandwala is one of London’s best dining experiences. Reservations are essential.
The food was just as amazing as the service! Special mention to the lovely Karim and the other adorable French man who assisted us in Lokhandwala. The atmosphere was very pleasant and the restaurant is beautifully decorated! Visited Lokhandwala twice over the past 10 days and will undoubtedly go back in the New Years.
Absolutely amazing food and staff that go out of there way to help in every way possible. Wonderful to have a hidden bar and shisha lounge just upstairs too. Such a beautiful place
The food was ok, although too rich and sugary. Overall, I thought it was expensive for what it was. The ambience was nice and the service was good.
