With a rooftop terrace boasting stunning views of the sea and hills, as well as a stylish dining room that combines modern and vintage aesthetics, Lounge is the place to go for a dining experience like no other in Largs. It's not just the beautiful setting that attracts guests from all over Ayrshire and beyond, but the food too, with each dish crafted using the best local ingredients. The lamb and 28 day aged beef is reared on Third Part Farm over the hills of Largs, the scallops and langoustines are caught on the West Coast and landed at Largs pier, while the fish is sourced from the award-winning fishmongers, Pieroni of Ayr. Whether its for a special meal or to enjoy some handcrafted cocktails on the roof terrace, Lounge is a popular choice. Booking in advance is recommended.
3 small courses for £10 - delicious & great value. The cullen skink was to die for! Beautiful room & roaribg real log fire as always.
There was 4 of us at the meal. We all had different food which was served at the same time. Food was great, service excellent. Very nice ambience. It's our favorite eating out spot in Largs.
Dropped in for lunch. We had a wonderful meal in a lovely restaurant and the staff were friendly and very attentive staff. We'll certainly be going back.
Tasty food, great atmosphere in classy surroundings and excellent service. I go regularly always happy and good prices. Great place to impress someone or special occasion
Food was very good. Staff somewhat under pressure and appeared to be short staffed. One massive pet hate for me is someone else’s lipstick on an alleged clean glass, and dishwasher marks on our wine glasses. These simple issues for me are an easy fix, however should not happen in the first place. Attention to detail the Lounge!!!!
Been here a few times for lunch and dinner, staff very pleasant. I always go for the soup as it’s delicous, my husband ordered the haggis Bon bons, which were served with a homemade brown sauce. The sauce was lovely the Bon bons were over cooked, a bit too dark looking. I had the chicken burger, which to me was a bit on the bland side, lacked flavour. My husband got the battered fish, which we’ve had previously, usually a large fish, not this time, looked like frozen half slices...this visit was a bit disappointing 😕
I usually love Lounge food but it was disappointing this time. Buttered chicken was like a KFC. . Rhubarb crumble and ice cream was lovely though. Don't like the way the large leather seats have been rearranged preferred in the middle of room
The staff at the lounge are excellent and friendly the food is lovely and much better than other gastro pubs I've been too. Atmosphere is nice especially with the open fire
Stylish setting and good service but the food wasn't as fresh as it should have been (grey paté, greasy pork belly). A little background music may also have enhanced the atmosphere of the large echoing dining room.
Very cosy on arrival from a bitterly cold night with a log fire buring. Service was excellent. Food was amazing and was delivered promptly and exactly as ordered.
