Had a lovely afternoon. The setting was perfect, outside dining excellent and the food was super.

Unfortunately shared space with 12 loud teenage boys for the first part. ( no problem except the noise level!) Once they left, thoroughly enjoyed the remainder of our visit.

This was our first time here,had to wait several minutes to be seated.The service was very good,we ordered onion rings,these were the nicest we have tasted in a while.Scampi and steak and ale fine very good and filling.

Took my 12 yr old granddaughter for lunch, the weather was nice so decided to sit outside, the food was good, however the tables was very dirty, had to ask for cutlery, however it was quite busy, no social distancing,In the outside space. But again that should be down to individuals to take responsibility.

Proper pub, excellent beer, excellent food, friendly staff. Well worth a visit.

Three of us , couple of starters 3 mains, sausage n mash, fish pie and panini (chicken) all pretty good service good social distancing and all that. First time here would recommend and come again P

The table didn’t seem to have been booked for us, although we were squeezed into a corner. Food and service was good.

A great value venue for a mid-week catch-up. Just unfortunate that there was a very, very noisy group at the next table!
