About Malikas

It seems these days that every city in the UK is full of Indian restaurants, but maybe sometimes Oxford is overlooked as being one where the restaurants are of any particular quality. Malikas, we are happy to report, places Oxford firmly on the map of where to find tasty, and this case, contemporary Indian cuisine. This stylish little restaurant can be found on Cowley Road in, yes, Cowley, and from the menu you can expect plenty of curry house classics as well as dishes that far surpass the norm. Every dish is prepared with knowledge and passion and nothing leaves this kitchen that the chefs themselves would not eat. Reserve a table now.

We have been here many times in the past. Had the king prawn jalfezi. Fantastic. Huge king prawns with shell on the tail. AlwYs a good sign of quality. Thank you to all the staff.

Lovely food and pleasant staff. Service was a bit slow but this could have been due to there being a lot of people in there last night. Also pleasant surrundings.

The food was great land the staff were really friendly. One of the best curries I've had in Oxford. I would definitely recommend it, especially pre gig!
