Excellent service, amazing food. The staff were friendly and very attentive. The whole meal for three people came to £40, so fantastic value for money.
Great restaurant and great atmosphere xx food is amazing and the staff are really welcoming can not wait to go back for another visit .
Good service, price, must go and try. No deliberate or random charge to stuffs you didnt order. Good environment, good size of portion. Quite a lot of customers eating there.
Kleftiko, meat or vegetable moussaka, stuffed peppers, chicken or lamb beyti as is or wrapped in flatbread and given a quick grill on the charcoal, the chargrilled eggplant puree mixed with yoghurt and served with lamb stew known as ali nazik, the herby halep kebab and the classic chicken or lamb Iskender – all of these are Turkish culinary specialties of the house that come highly recommended when you choose to dine at Mangal Meze in Greater London’s Romford, easily found up South Street from the main station.
Other great ways to get stuck into Mangal Meze’s comprehensive list of Turkish delights are the family specials, great value packs for 2 or 3 to 6 to 7 people. With the most lavish of these including a cold mixed meze platter (this restaurant has made a name for itself in Romford for its fantastic shareable platters), lamb and chicken doner, chicken wings, lamb ribs, Adana kofte, chicken shish, lamb liver, rice and salad. A standout among the many Turkish restaurants that pepper the unbroken urban conglomeration that is Greater London, Mangal Meze deserves a booking.
