Definitely do your research before booking. For a Valentine’s Day booking, the set special occasion menu of starter + main / main + dessert for £45 per person was a huge markup compared to their regular menu dishes (regular cost of the combined dishes we were interested in would have been approx. £20-30). Originally booked based on the fantastic reviews of their à la carte menu but after sitting down to see no other available menu (other than the drinks menu), warning bells rang. At the time of booking there was no mention of a deposit being required, but fast forward 24 hours a phonecall was received stating a card payment of £20 needed to be taken to secure the booking. After some confusion in the restaurant, it turns out no matter what dishes were ordered, the minimum price for the two dishes would have been £45 per person with additional charges on top of the £45 for some dishes if chosen from the usual menu. There was no real clarification as to why/which dishes would have had an extra charge with information only provided at time of ordering. This unfortunately wasn’t the best news to receive. To end on some positives, kudos to the waitresses and waiters who served us, as they remained professional. We did appreciate the restaurant allowing us to just have two tasty cocktails equating to the £20 deposit we paid, with them waiving the service charge. The atmosphere was nice and the restaurant itself is lovely, but be prepared to do your research first before booking. We ended up at a nice establishment down the road that served their regular menu, paying less and definitely got more bang for our buck.

Our first visit to Marley's and we weren't disappointed. The food and service were excellent and it was a very nice restaurant. The staff were always attentive to our needs and we are looking forward to returning in April.

Food was very average for the price. The chicken in the pasta had the consistency of a shop bought pre cooked chicken.

I went for dinner with 2 friends. The whole time we was there we felt very rushed. Food came out super fast, immediately after our starters. The pasta was slightly hard and not much taste to it at all (chicken and mushroom pasta). After 1 hour and 10 mins, we was asked to move tables! I asked why and was told "this table is reserved" so I replied "yes for us till 7pm" she said its a nice table by the window. Is she joking? She wants us to move tables after 1hr 10 mins for someone else??? I think this absolutely disgusting. I have never ever been asked to move tables mid way through a stay in a restaurant. I will never ever return and will make sure this restaurant is not recommended.

Great place. Amazing atmosphere, food is always delicious and really big portions. Prices are reasonable, don’t need to wait long for food to be delivered. Highly recommended.

My son recommended Marleys so we celebrated his 40th birthday. Great selection of dishes on the menu and fairly priced. Amazing deliciously cooked and presented food, generous portions and staff were extremely friendly and helpful. You must try the Mexican Fire Tequila 🔥 ❣️

Food was amazing and very big portions! Broccoli and carrots could be cooked a bit longer as knife wouldn’t cut through them but the Tuna steak was so tasty and huge would definitely have again and recommend! Salmon was also tasty and huge, as was the chicken dish with white sauce and the salmon pasta! Just shared some warm bread and olives, which were the best we’ve ever tasted for our starter! It was quite a quick visit before the Queens Theatre! Waiters were very friendly and overall service excellent thank you!

Table for six people was ready and waiting for us. Served drinks quickly and took our food order shortly afterwards. Meals were good and would certainly return to Marleys.

Good calm atmosphere! Not too loud music. Some restaurants are so loud you can't talk. This was just right. Attentive staff, checked if we needed anything but not pestering. Excellent food, relaxed setting.
