Marley's Brasserie & Lounge - Benfleet

We were a little reluctant to try Marley’s as we were of the opinion that it was mainly a fast food venue. However we were pleasantly surprised by the menu and the quality of the food served. The staff were very courteous and friendly. We will definitely go again.

Friendly staff. Good atmosphere. Bringing some life to Benfleet. Food was a little pricy but a good quality. Would visit again.

Atmosphere excellent service very attentive food excellent did not have to wait too long Pricing was good but do not approve of service charge gave a £10 tip before realising I had been charged for service only restaurant I know that puts a service charge on bill. I will tip as I see fit I will not be told what tip to pay this was my first visit to marleys and possibly my last

Lovely food, good service, still new so think they are still settling in! High hopes for the future

food was great however they got the birthday girls dinner wrong so she had to wait while rest of table started eating then they gave us wrong beer and argued it was a moretti when it clearly wasn’t and disagree with service charge being added to bill tips should be given for great service overall as staff already get paid for job !

Great food with only one dish that was slightly “iffy”. Very tasty overall. Great service, but slightly surprised with the service charge of 12.5%.

The food was really really good and served very quickly. Waiters were very friendly and polite. Although once we finished our meal the waiters weren’t very attentive… we sat for a long time with empty glasses and in the end I just asked for the bill as it seemed like we were just forgotten about.

Lamb cutlets with amazing and presentation with lovely for the food in general too.. only thing I would and it’s a personal preference.. would of like the cheesecake to be baked.. a little to squishy for me. And the cheese feta parcels weren’t for me.

Great food and would go again but this is the first place I haven’t been offered a complimentary shot and also be careful that a sevice charge is added to your bill even if it isn’t that good

Beautiful restaurant. The food was delicious and the cocktails are incredible. Ahmed made the best Porn star Martini we'd ever had. The staff were very friendly & they even gave us a complimentary shot at the end. Will definitely be going back. Lovely place to eat. X

This was our first time at the restaurant since it opened and we was gutted that we didn’t really enjoy it as we were very excited when we saw this being renovated. There was more fat on my husbands £31 steak than meat and the chips were over cooked/ end bits so were hard. Wouldn’t rush back unfortunately, think it’s slightly overpriced too.

First time going to Marley’s with my family for dinner and it was a lovely experience. Friendly waitresses, the food was nice and we didn’t have to wait long.

This was our second visit to Marley's and certainly won't be our last. Staff were excellent.We have no complaint food was superb atmosphere was too. We will most definitely tell our friends. Look forward to our next Marley experience.

A lot of thought and work has been put into this restaurant it looks amazing inside and out can see it getting busy over the coming spring summer months with how they have designed the inside flowing to the outside very Mediterranean here’s to a nice summer !! long may it reign in Benfleet !!! Food was really good staff attentive and fresh cocktails what more could you ask for So thumbs up from me 👍

We booked our table to which we were taken on our arrival. Service was prompt and efficient. The menu is a little restricted and focuses mainly on burgers and pasta dishes although there is one fish/steak/lamb dish on menu. The food arrived without undue delay and was well presented and tasty. The surroundings are smart and modern but noisy. The final bill included a 12% service charge which was not mentioned on the menu. We were told this was an optional extra which could be removed or amended. All said the restaurant is a good addition to the local area and we will be giving it a further visit soon.

Such a wonderful evening great service & food. Can’t wait to return
