London is packed with cuisines from all corners of the globe, and boasts some of the best restaurants in the world. Maximini Chinese Cuisine is up there with the best of them. Specialising in Chinese cooking fused with Malaysian herbs, head chef Albert Koh whips up some truly delicious dishes in a chic and stylish location on Sussex Place, right in the heart of Paddington. The dishes here are works of art, and you’ll find an eclectic range on offer, simply begging to be sampled. Open for lunch and dinner, Maximini Chinese Cuisine is the perfect end to a day exploring the Monopoly board, or for any special occasion, and your guests will be truly delighted.
As one of the most sought-after Chinese restaurants in London, Maximini Chinese Cuisine certainly knows what it takes to transform food into works of art in their own right. Located in the heart of Paddington and a stone’s throw from Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens, Maximini Chinese Cuisine is one of the most chic and stylish restaurants in the area, and the food is of course, the star of the show. Blending an interesting combination of traditional Chinese cooking methods with Malaysian, Thai and Singaporean influences and ingredients, the dishes are refreshing, flavoursome and certainly enticing.
Beginning with hors d’oeuvres, we recommend the mixed hot platter which includes satay chicken, prawn toast, crispy seaweed, vegetarian rolls and Vietnamese spring rolls to sample several of the delicious options Maximini Chinese Cuisine has on offer – ideal for sharing this one. For the main event, well, to be honest you’ll need to visit a few times to work your way through their extensive list. But to give you an idea, the fragrant crispy duck with cucumber, spring onions and a pancake; fresh seabass with spicy chilli sauce and cashew nut chicken are all standout dishes. You’ll find Maximini Chinese Cuisine on Sussex Place in Paddington. It’s one of London’s best restaurants, so booking ahead is advised.
It's my favourite Chinese restaurant in London. I love the Chili prawn and black pepper lamb. Actually I love every single dish I ordered tonight. It's the best Chinese restaurant in London
The food, service and staff were all excellent, thank you. The only reason I did not give a rating of 6 is because the restaurant was cold. Apart from this, we all have a wonderful time.
Every thing was perfect, the food exceptional, you couldn't wish for better service and would definitely go back and recommend. Thanks to staff for making it a special evening.
Tasty food, good house white wine, friendly staff. Garlic chicken wings, singapore noodles, chilli beef and garlic broccoli all recommended! Not cheap but certainly not extortionate.
