This is one of my favourite restaurants to eat at. I’ve managed to finally get someone to go .. don’t know why it took someone so much convincing because I’ve shown picture and video and the videos speak for themselves! The chicken wings are so juicy and succulent and the out of this world roast.. the tiger fries are the best 😭💕

I always have a mixed review when I come here, I do love the food which is why I go back, but there’s always this one server who is always so unbothered about he never I go there. I even almost broke my back on a chair that’s leg was completely broken, no apology no nothing, like a robot just removed the chair and continued on, they didn’t even have carrier bags to fit the takeaway boxes this time round. Wasn’t the best experience this time round, annoying that it’s always so hit and miss..

After going here a few times now I was quite disappointed in the Customer Service experience bear in mind. I’ve always used to go during the week assuming that would be quieter so the Customer Service would be better but it was quite the opposite as I went on a weekend day and I found that the service was a lot better. I’m not sure if it’s because there was different stuff and what the person I usually get served is that but The lady who was serving me was really nice and accommodating and tended to which made the experience a lot better, food is amazing as always.. thanks guys.. hope you keep up the good service 🙏🏼

Returning customer and I must say Meli Melo always maintain their great standards. Customer care and food is always great. Atmosphere and ambiance is nice and relaxing, this place is my happy place

The food is always to die for here, but for the price I’m paying the service really really lacks.. I had to constantly ask for the same things over and over and and was barely tended too. Service really lets them down here but the food is so so good

Decent Food, But Price wise of the Steaks could've been better with Extras with the meal. Just Served with Standard Chips and Mushroom Sauce.

Second time visiting and this time with kids. Would have liked more kids options but the food tastes amazing as always.

To be honest I did expect a slightly better experience we had gone on a Wednesday evening so I didn’t think that service would be an issue but I felt as if I had to constantly call the service over to get attention even to place the initial order had to repeat a few times while I had to say And there wasn’t very much warmth and kindness .. I did like the food, the only thing that saved the place to be honest, but wasn’t a great customer service experience

It was not so busy yet very difficult to get service people's attention when required. Toilets were not in great condition. Food was good but went cold quite quickly.

Absolutely terrible service, food was cold, steak was asked medium well, was forgotten about and chef rushed to make and served it raw had to be recooked, one of the starters were cold, waiter added drinks to order that werent even available to order and was wrong number. This experience was terrible

Went for a group meal with some friends. We were really looking forward to it as one of the few restaurants that doesn’t serve alcohol yet is more fancy than a run-of-the-mill halal restaurant. The website suggests it is more of a fine dining experience, but in reality it does not have the appearance of a fancy restaurant. Service was slow, especially drinks, on a weekday night where there were only a handful of other diners. The menu was varied, ranging from roast lamb/chicken with Yorkshire pudding and the trimmings, to South American ceviche, with Tex-Mex influence. We were a little disappointed with the food and the presentation, as well as the service. The waiter didn’t know much about the menu or ingredients and couldn’t suggest any dishes in particular. Unfortunately we won’t be going back.

Everything was amazing Lamb shank was my personal fav as it was soft and fell off the bone everything was cooked to perfection!

Bigger portion sizes, half the plate was empty. Other than that i would definitely come back and the food was delicious. Service was excellent too.

Desert chocolate tart was delicious The mac and cheese was good Fat on the Chops needed to be rendered a bit more to stop it being too fatty and chewy Service was excellent

The service was terrible. 1 - We had to wait 30 minutes for an order to be placed. 2 - Not all menu items were available. 3 - We had to ask over 3 times to get drinks and some drinks were not delivered. We had to physically walk over to the bar to get a drink. 4 - We had to return side dishes because they came significantly after we had finished our mains. The food was great, but the service massively let us down.

There was a large group of men, that had no consideration of other diners. Laughing and talking loudly. We were told our food would arrive before the large group, this did not happen. They got their dessert and we were still waiting for our food. 3 waitresses on shift and all attended to this group, no service to others. My lamb shank was cold when. It did eventually arrive. When we requested the bill, we waited 20minutes till we went to the counter and the 2 waitresses saw us but didn't come over. Disappointed as I heard good reviews hence my visit

Best chef and restaurant, very welcoming and an elite staff, food is absolutely divine, an unforgettable experience you can only have in Meli Melo.

Always lovely visiting Meli Melo! Recommended to family and they loved the food, everything was so tasty. Even the kids enjoyed their meal. Waitress who served us was so lovely and welcoming, great food, good staff, lovely place.

I’ve been before and had a really good experience so hoping this was a one off. The service was slow, and they kept getting my order wrong. I was wrongly charged for a hot drink which took forever to come and I had to chase it a few times - and ended up being served the wrong drink. At this point I had been so delayed I just gave up and paid and left. The servers were nice but the service was lacking so given the price, the time we spent waiting around and the cheeky “discretionary” service charge added on to bill, I wasn’t too impressed with this visit.

Nice service, nice friendly staff. Food was okay however it wasn’t hot enough and the gravy with the lamb shank was cold and lumpy but when we asked they gave us hot gravy😊 overall enjoyed our time there.

My third time visiting. Was great as usual. Waiting time for food was a little long but it was a bit busy. Drinks were also great!

The food was very tasty. Very good quality meat and ingredients. All the sauces, vegetables and meat had exceptional flavour. Mocktails were nice as well, slightly over priced though. Staff were friendly and attentive too. Overall great experience

First time visiting the new branch. Food was really good as always but would prefer a little less siracha. Love the fact there is a dedicated prayer space 😍

Been here a number of times but first time taking my friend. They incredible to my friend who brought her little daughter along. She went to play with the display throughout our meal very quietly and they gave her a complimentary juice at one point followed by a delicious looking lolly later on. I often worry when taking children out due to the other customers there but also sometimes the restaurant staff but these guys were incredible - they went that extra mile which they didn't need to but it really made the visit stand out and I and my friend will be visiting again. Really wanted to post this review to applaud them on their impeccable service.

The foods were solid and the roast are must try!!
