The powerful flavours of Latin and South American cooking (Mendoza is, after all an Argentinian province) are an undervalued force in London. In Clapham’s Mendoza Square (on Bedford Road), the team are set to right this culinary wrong by bringing the essence of great cooking from the south of the equator to London’s grateful foodies. Mendoza Square’s smart staff are on hand to guide novices through the menu that showcases the finest examples of Latin American cooking in the capital.
Celebrated our friend's birthday on Taco Tuesday. 50% off tacos and 2 for 1 cocktails. Always enjoy going Mendoza Square! Thanks for the great service!
One of my favourite places to go in Clapham. I live close by and love taking friends there for lunch or dinner. The food is excellent and the staff are always really friendly. My favourite dish is their chicken tostadas. Haven't had them in quite some time and they've really improved the them! Tasted amazing! They only offer the tostadas for brunch (which is a shame) - I wish they'd offer it on their regular menu because I'd be back more often. :)
Always have a great meal at Mendoza Square! 50% off Taco Tuesday special along with 2 for one cocktails you can't go wrong. 🌮🌮🌮= 50% off 🍹🍹 = 2 for 1 Thanks
For too long, the fragrant delicacies of Latin American food have been confused with a kind of Tex-Mex mashup which fails utterly to understand the complex ingredients and flavours at the heart of much Latin American food. Hidden in London’s Clapham, itself home to a number of fine restaurants trumpeting exotic cuisine, finds the Bedford Road restaurant in good company. Diners are heading over to Mendoza Square for their uncompromising approach to all thing Latin American and are being richly rewarded.
For first time visitors to Clapham’s temple to Latin American cooking, we recommend you approach the lengthy menu with a judicious approach. The menu showcases all the finest of Latin cooking, and if you need a hand navigating between bubulle burgers, frango de churrasco and pescado rodrigo plates, your best bet is to ask the smart staff for some guidance. For the aficionados, the menu should hold their interest away from fajitas and burgers, with the big flavours of Peruvian calamari and homemade chimichurri marinade on hand to keep things interesting. For London diners looking to light a fire under identikit diners, Bedford Road’s Mendoza Square holds the answers.
