Very good food, service was good however a little bit slow towards the end

Dined with five friends and found the staff very welcoming and attentive. All the dishes we had were excellent so would definitely recommend.

We had a lovely visit to the restaurant. Our food was great. The atmosphere is good. We tried new dishes we hadn't had before and were not disappointed. X

Thoroughly enjoyed the lovely food. Probably wouldn’t have the onion bhaji again just too big for us. We’ll definitely be back.

Good food, good attention from Staff, very clean. Coffee came with a choice of milk or cream. Very cold outside but inside warm and comfortable.

Plenty of choice,but the dishes were not refilled,so later diners did not have much choice as only sauce left.But the food was very nice.Also service was not as attentive as it was when we ate on a Saturday evening.

We have been going to merchant spice for years and when we went in on Saturday, we were placed near a very rowdy group of youngsters and the noise was terrible. None of the staff reprimanded them on their noise and language and I asked to be moved. The meal was nice but we were not offered brandy or baileys at the end and the bill was around £20 more than I expected to pay. I’m afraid we won’t be going back and will not recommend this restaurant to anyone else.

Booked a table useing this site only to arrive and be told they are fully booked and there was no table avalible. The manger was just rude and told us there was nothing he could so like it or lump it really.it wasnt intill another member of staff overherd what was going on that we finally got a table for later that night about an 1.30 hours after i had book for. But food was good and staff very nice

This was our first visit and encouraged because of the app. Liked the idea of the placquard to show when you're ready to order and finished eating. Food however wasn't great and VERY expensive for the little amount we ordered. Service was okay, staff were friendly enough.
