One of the most relaxing and comfortable British restaurants in Charlton Kings, The Merryfellow Inn is idyllic to say the least. As we mentioned above, the menu here is filled to the brim with delicious and wholesome pub grub classics you’re sure to salivate over. Some of our favourites include the Merryfellow proper pie served with creamy mash and fresh veggies; Cajun salmon with rice and housemade salsa and the pan-fried duck breast with a zesty passionfruit sauce and crushed new potatoes. All this washed down with an ale or two, makes for a mighty fine evening near Cheltenham, if you ask us.
If you happen to be craving a burger, make sure you get stuck into the special Merryfellow Inn beef burger filled with halloumi, roasted red peppers and basil mayo. Alternatively, perhaps the lemon chicken burger with lettuce, chunky chips and coleslaw is more up your alley? Either way, it’s all good at The Merryfellow Charlton Kings. Also offering an impressive range of sharing plates, lunch dishes and the amazing Sunday roast we mentioned before, your best is to get your reservation booked in as soon as possible. You’ll find this British haven on School Road near Cheltenham.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The carvery was delicious, choice of three meats, and top marks to the cauliflower cheese and the roast potatoes.
Outstanding place - best carvery I have ever tasted in a fantastic hidden gem. Pint Carling £4 maybe a little too expensive, however, fantastic food.
